This is a nice pub with a very good atmosphere. There beer selection is very good and so is the food. If you are in the Notting Hill Area look this place up.

One of the most beautiful little pubs in the area with a great winter garden in the back. Service is friendly and attending, however the positives stop here. The food is average if not plain bad. I had the fish and chips and it was oily and reminiscent of a cheap take out place you would eat at the end... More

Stopped in to rest my feet and grab a bite. The 'Cherry Orchard' locally made sausages were excellent with my sausages and mash. The mash, too, was different but so good. Add to this good beer and outdoor tables under a heater in the garden.

Went impromptu visit about 3pm on a Saturday. The food was fantastic and had a side room which was great as I was with family. It is a little expensive but a great traditional gastro pub.

If someone was to design a film set for a traditional interior London pub they'd simply copy the front three 'snug' sections of this hostelry - outrageously lovely. The rear of the building (restaurant area) is newer. The beer garden is very nice indeed. There are usually eight real ales on, mostly from small breweries, about the same number of... More

This is an attractive local pub with plenty of rooms and space, a great atmosphere, a lovely beer garden (quite rare in London) and a quirkiness that make it a fine spot for a drink with friends. We came here for food, however, and found the prices to be ridiculously expensive for the bog-standard pub food that they served us.... More

How anyone can give one star to this pub is beyond me. Nice shaded garden. Great choice of beers. Although the waitress did get us the wrong ones. The food is v expensive for what u get. But compared to the awful central London pubs this is wonderful.

The Windsor Castle sits besides Holland Park and enjoys a great location. Inside it's very old and full of character. The garden out the back is cozy and a great place to people watch. Although most of the seats both inside and outside were taken the pub was not full however the service was poor. Bar staff who were unsure... More

Reserving a table for dinner on a Friday evening turned out to be a much more arduous task than it needs to be, even though we called three days before. We did eventually manage to reserve a table, and I am glad we did, as pub was absolutely jam packed when we walked in. The young waitress was polite and... More

Recently renovated, this homely pub fortunately still retains its charm and most of its original interior. Serving the victual needs of Notting Hill , Kensington and world-wide folk , this charming local has the feel and ambience of a typical country pub. Due to the uncertain Summer weather a table was reserved inside. Shortly after sitting down with our drinks, we... More
