Real peruvian food

My husband and I have a habit of turning the Peruvian restaurants in all cities / countries we go. I am Peruvian, and very fond of Peruvian food. We had lunch buffet, I found the cause rellena and el aji de gallina really good. The desserts were very good and also the Lucuma Sour. The waitresses... read more

I still haven't decided whether the £21 for lunch buffet is pricey or not. Food wise though I was very happy though. I mainly tried the coriander lamb, the bean stew and the spicy seafood stew. I order ceviche but never arrived. Honestly, for a non fuss lunch this is my ideal type of food. Honest but not simplistic, with... More

A reasonable go at peruvian style food although the real stuff (in Peru) is better by miles. Ingredients are probably difficult to get. Lovely jugs of Pisco Sour available. Service was very slow and - with our table of 7 - rather disjointed with main dishes arriving all over the place.... Clean. Pleasant place.

My boyfriend booked a meal at Tierra Peru for my birthday. The food was very enjoyable, good portions, a little expensive though. Really great staff, got me and my boyfriend these green coca-leaf shots on the house for my birthday, think it was kinda like AGWA, which was so sweet of them and took the time to have a nice... I ate here recently on a Saturday evening with a friend. I hadn't eaten Peruvian food before but I thought that the food was good, and the drinks prices weren't too bad. I also enjoyed the pisco sour. My friend thought that the food here was better than at another Peruvian restaurant in London, but that the drinks were better... More

I am Colombian, and I have tried so many good restaurants in Europe, so far this place is the most authentic Peruvian food I've found in London. The food is of good quality, they have an amazing and varied bufett at weekends with great quality dishes at a very affordable price. The service is friendly and the restaurant has a... More

I went to try the buffet menu, but I am very disappointed!! Firstly, the price is very expensive for the offer of food (does not include desserts), and they notify with and ad that they will charge £10 extra if you leave food in the small plate that give you... (What happen if I really don´t like some food?). Second,... More

I came here with my family a while back just because. I'd been meaning to try this place for a while and I am glad to say that it did not disappoint. Our waitress, though new, was very good considering that (even if my spanish failed me). Their pisco sours are very good and they had a good selection of... More
