Unfamiliar menu, amazing experience

Having never eaten Peruvian food before, this was always going to be an interesting experience. What I wasn't counting on was the variety of flavours, colours and textures that came with it! Try something different yet affordable with great service and recommendations.

Such a lovely little restaurant on Essex Road. We went here as a small group of friends. The service was quick and friendly with the waitresses happy to answer all our questions. The food came quickly and was delicious. We'll definitely be back.

We chose this restaurant for a girls night out and the choice was great! There are few places in London that server Peruvian food but are not overly expensive. This is one of them. I shared an Inca plate with a friend of mine. This gives you 6 dishes to taste from and portions are very generous: we could do... More

I am French and I know that since uber-chef Ferran Adrià decided that Peru held the key to the future of gastronomy in 2011, the march of Peruvian food has been unstoppable around the globe. However, it wasn't until I moved to London a few months ago and a very close friend persuaded me to try the Peruvian buffet at... More

The world has been experiencing a Peruvian gastronomic invasion and London is definitely not an exception. Even though there are fancy and very trendy places where you can try Peruvian food, Tierra Peru has what no other Peruvian restaurant can offer you in London, traditional Peruvian flavour. I am Peruvian and I have tried several Peruvian restaurants in London. However,... More

We dropped in on a Saturday afternoon during a day trip to London after finding a voucher on Living Social. It's a modest establishment but the food was sensational. We had the buffet, which had a small but accomodating selection, including a decent amount of salads/sides and various crunchy beans/kernels etc. I was impressed at the fact I could eat... More

I went to this restaurant with my boyfriend and booked this place based on the review in Tripadvisor. The restaurant is very nice and all the dishes we ordered were delicious and perfectly cooked. We was served by a lovely Spanish girl who suggested many dishes from the menu and all the dishes were just perfect. I highly recommend this... More
