Great food but don't expect cheap

Lunch here was exceptional. Great staff and service. Large menu and a huge choice. It is not cheap but then it is theatre land. Highly recommended for somewhere to have lunch and a chat. A 3-course meal for 4 with 2 bottles of wine and tip was £360. You get what you pay for - excellence.

This is our third visit to The Delaunay and we will be back. Notoriously traditional but the atmosphere is not at all stuffy. The staff are incredibly professional in every way. The service is impeccable and all dishes are of a very high standard. We had delicious Prosecco and perfectly crusty fresh bread and salted butter. My sea trout was... More

The Delauney has a very good variety of choices, everything from oysters to 4 kinds of schnitzel, all tastefully prepared and served. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Visited The Delaunay for afternoon tea and had a cocktail and glass of champagne to accompany. The staff could not do enough for us and were very helpful in helping us choose between the afternoon tea selections or the a-la-carte brunch options. In the end went for an afternoon tea. All was delicious and the extra sandwiches brought over were... More

Brought my sister here for a special birthday treat and we were very impressed with everything about this restaurant - the décor, atmosphere, food and service. I usually go to the Wolesley for brunch while visiting London, this time decided to try the sister restaurant and was really glad I did. The tea itself has an Austrian slant, the little... More

We had a good dinner at this restaurant. The Borscht was superb. The main courses were nice. The portions were large and the staff were most attentive. We would visit again.

The staff here are wonderful and ensure you have the best of service. The menu is good, varied and not overpriced. We were there pre theatre so it was just filling up, but there was a real buzz in the room and it's a great place to go with friends. Highly recommend.

This was my second time visiting the Delaunay . The food & the service was excellent, I had the eggs benedict & it was delicious, my mother had the French toast with cream cheese & enthused about it. The Delaunay blend tea was delicious! The staff are attentive & professional, yet not intrusive. Looking forward to returning the next time... More

Had a business lunch here on what appeared to be a busy midweek service. The staff were not phased by the large number of guests in the restaurant. Our table of 7 received a high quality level of service and attention. The food was superb - very large portions which in my experience is unusual for London. All in all... More
