Best recommendation I have received in ages. I loved everything about this place from the welcome to the food ( and drink) to the price, and the ambience and decor. We arrived at 9.00pm thinking we had a reservation which seemed not to have been confirmed....but it was no problem, with absolutely no fuss we were offered a table in the... A trip to London's not complete without a delicious meal at The Delaunay. Great service, for and atmosphere. The prices are also very reasonable. Be sure to make a res before you go and try to snag a booth if you can.

Went for afternoon tea and it was an absolutely lovely experience! The cakes and sandwiches were incredible and perfectly complimented by the tea. There was plenty of pieces to share and it was very filling. The staff were extremely polite and attentive. Definitely worth a visit and I will definitely return!

We love the Delaunay - returning time and again. Today was no exception. I had the full English breakfast (£16.50), excellent ingredients, each with character and taste, perfectly cooked. Although the DL is not an inexpensive dining experience, you get what you pay for - great ambience, service and food. I highly recommend a visit at any time of day,... More

The restaurant was almost full and still the operation was so smooth. Good food. Nice value. Have definitely matched their older sibling.

Had a reservation for lunch. Arrived on time, told we'd have to wait for our table. Other customers that had no reservation were told they had a 15-30 minute wait. Shuffled us to the bar area. Waited 15 minutes while they seated all the walk ins before we had a table. We were just about to leave when they finally... More

A bit of Austria in the heart of London. Stopped in for Sunday brunch upon recommendation of a friend and so glad I Listened. The restaurant is elegant yet casual and relaxing a great place to start the day. Being sunday it was crowded with groups of friends and families enjoying the delicious fare. I was beyond delighted to see... More

We went to "The Delaunay" to celebrate a special birthday for a family member. The front desk greeting we received was warm and very welcoming. We were shown to a Private Dining Room at the back of the restaurant and met up with the rest of the family for a "Meet & Greet "reception. Very nice Prosecco The main Dining area... More

Really lovely place in Aldwych - excellent breakfast choice, and everything we had (full English, pancakes with maple syrup and bacon and fried eggs on rosti with sausage) were wonderful. Real faded old world charm (genuinely) with staff who seem to really care. Very friendly, great value and superb food. This will be our "go to" place for breakfast in... More
