Lovely atmospheric room but noisy

Lovely atmospheric room but noisy. You have to experience the room and atmosphere (packed) to believe it. Clientele was mainly youngish twenty something’s. Some oldies like us. Best to sit at the far side so you can hear and speak to others around the table. Very busy. Reservation essential... read more

We were meeting friends from South Africa who were staying in town. Wanted somewhere good but not a haunt of celebs who tend to hog all the service. We also wanted somewhere that wouldn't be chasing us from our table as we wanted to chat as well as eat. The service was attentive without being intrusive and we all enjoyed... More

I went to The Delaunay for afternoon tea today. As usual it was a wonderful experience. Fine surroundings, knowledgeable staff and an excellent afternoon tea.

The Delaunay never fails to deliver - fantastic atmosphere with excellent food and service. We ate from the Sunday Brunch menu. The portions are generous so come with a hearty appetite!

Pre-Theatre supper.Grand European style Cafe from the owners of the Wolseley. Not as classy as its sister but it's catering to a slightly different audience.Food was very good, service was attentive and efficient for a large venue that was full.Well run, polished and does what it says on the tin.

What a disappointment after last time, been so looking forward to this for ages and what a let down. 3 of us had the spatchcock chicken, one of which came out raw and by the time they bought up a freshly cooked one, the rest of us had finished eating. They were actually tasteless and rubbery. The manager took them... More

Me and my four girlfriends treated ourselves to breakfast on a weekend trip to London. Service, food and surroundings all first class. Two minor points our table was slightly too small for five of us when breakfasts, tea, toast and condiments arrived all were quite squashed and not a lot of room for error. Breakfasts were all delicious but could... More

The only reason this isn't a 5 star rating is that they stuck a £2 each cover charge on the bill with no warning. When we queried it, they explained it was because we were sat in the restaurant, they did offer to remove it but we felt it wasn't necessary in the first place. Taking this aside this is... More

Came to Delaunay's for the first time a few months ago while visiting London. The place is a very upscale restaurant with a beautiful dining area and bar. I ordered: Rib-eye Steak and fries - the steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare. it was juicy and delicious. the fries were also good but nothing out of this world. But... More

I have had some fantastic meals here but one of the best was we went here for my 21st birthday with my family and it was delicious as well as the service being great! There is a huge range of choices and the food despite the prices is in huge portions and you feel as though you are getting your... More
