Great restaurant for afternnon tea before the theatre

Food was excellent and the staff warm and friendly, we havd two Viennese teas and our daughters had the Omlttes and soup. There was loads of foood and we shared the cakes between the four of us. This was a real find.

Went to the Delaunay for brunch on Saturday. The waiters failed to take our drinks order despite numerous attempts to catch their attaneiton. The eggs benedict were average to say the least. There was a £2 per head "brunch charge" added to the bill without any consultation. There are definitely better (and less expensive) places to brunch in the City.

I eat here regularly and it is usually excellent. Decided to try afternoon tea and did not enjoy at all. No table clothes and rather rushed service with a very uninteresting selection of savouries on the cake stand of the Viennese afternoon tea. Perhaps I chose wrongly but planned family celebration didn't work on this occasion.

Lovely reliable fare. And the people are utterly delightful. I can't recommend it enough. Everything is good. Go all the time.

Great ambience, good service and excellent food. I had sea bass and mash ... Very good. Very central to Covent Garden and makes an excellent location for a business lunch

In London we were looking for somewhere different to eat that could cater for my dietary needs and satisfy hubby as well. The Delaunay's menu gave us both so in we went. Luckily for us there was a table available even though we hadn't booked. Whilst looking at the menu we were given sourdough bread sticks (delicious). We ordered a... More

Located close to central Covent Garden this is a nice dining area with good service. Quite a wide menu, well cooked and tasty food at sensible prices for this area. Service was quick so good for business lunches

Great service ! Our waitress Kate did made our morning. Was after 11:30 when we got there, breakfast was finishing , and I asked if possible to order breakfast. It wasn't possible but she did tried , and asked the kitchen if they can do it. There was not a problem for me. I asked for a orange juice and... More

Went for a business lunch. Nice dining room with a reasonable menu but expensive for pretty average cuisine. Service is fine and menu is varied but it doesn't live up to expectations. Other, similarly priced restaurants offer a better all round experience. I would recommend for breakfast based on previous experience but there are better options for lunch.
