Lovely dinner here recently in a relaxed, informal setting but also quite special and refined. Good quality food and varied menu to suit most tastes. Very happy with the service. Close proximity to Covent Garden.

Can't help but loving this place. First of all, the kitchen is open until midnight, so it is very easy to drop in for a copious meal AFTER the show, play or movie. Secondly, the atmosphere is lovely. Even though the restaurant is a modern concept and thus not very, ahem, authentic, it doesn't feel formulaic at all. It just... More

Had been looking forward to our second visit The Delaunay , really enjoyed our meal there in October last year , and wasn't disappointed this time . The food once again was superb, had the Weiner schnitzel ,and the atmosphere and service were first class . A great place for pre or post theatre dinning.

The have a sumptuous collection of wheat free cakes (poppy seed and rhubarb was divine) along with every drink from coffee to bubbly wines. The service... More

The Delaunay has impeccable service without being stuffy. Lovely fine de siecle Viennese decor, consistently good food ( try the Tarte Flamande) but you go to the Delaunay for the atmosphere and the attention. If you arrive first they always bring you a paper to read. If they see you are having a celebration they will arrange cakes and other... More

Was treated to a meal here by friends. Our reception as we entered boded well and several staff ensured we were settled and comfortable. A lovely atmosphere of dark polished wood and mirrors. Very sedate turn of last century Central European feel. Light, colourful, warm, buzzy. I felt immediately comfortable and relaxed, ready to enjoy the meal. I loved the... More

Lovely lunch, busy buzzing atmosphere, sadly spoilt by poor service, we had to ask for our drinks twice, coffee twice and even had to ask for the bill.. yes twice!!
