Okay for a quick meal

Pleasant service but the Sunday roasts were only okay. I don't understand why roast potatoes are deep fried, The drinks were cold and it was quick.the chocolate orange brownie was outstanding!

We visited Windsor Castle and then went to the Duchess of Cambridge Pub for a bite and a drink. We had emailed in advance to make sure we could have our kids with us. The decor is updated with a funky combination of modern and old. The menu and beer/ale is what you would expect from a modern pub. It... More

Brunch - not the best fry-up I have ever had, Wetherspoon standard... Coffee- surprisingly good for a pub. Snack/dinner - not too bad and good value for money. Christmas menu looked great but didn't get a chance to try it. Free wifi and service is hit and miss.

The Sunday Roast was one of the worst meals I have ever had. The toughest meat I have ever attempted to eat. Just cutting it was a challenge. Deep fried potatoes and parsnip, not exactly authentic and frozen frozen veg. All around very disappointed. They do however have some decent beers on tap.

Under new management after the previous iteration closed down, it seems this is a tough place to get right. It's not helped by the location - right by a mini roundabout junction of two main-ish roads. It's also hampered by it's size - it has two very large very high ceiling rooms which make the place seem very empty if... More

Very recently under new management - suffering from very poor customer service, extremely slow service for food despite the pub being reasonably empty and employing some members of staff with limited ability in taking simple food and drink orders correctly and efficiently. W6/W4 offers a wealth of very good pubs, I would strongly recommend trying all of these before venturing... More

Incredible choice of beers would suit every taste. Classic pub food but beware the quantities as you will need a good appetite to finish the excellent food. The 4 appetizers for 12 pounds is a fantastic deal but be warned - enough food for two people. Helpful and cheerful staff.

Party of 6 for lunch, and had waited almost an hour for meal after placing order. As it was pleasant sitting in the Spring sunshine supping beers we weren't in a rush, but eventually felt obliged to chase up the food as the time ticked on and on. No quibbling or excuses: they had messed up; instantly admitted to it;... More

My wife loves a "Sunday Roast" when she is in the UK. We were planning to be in the Chiswick area and did a bit of research before selecting The Duchess of Cambridge. I guess I was not expecting too much because a lot of pub food is mediocre. Wow - the Sunday Roast was the best I have had... More

This has become a regular local - a friendly pub with a great choice of real ales, craft beers, continental bottled beers, and ciders and frequent festivals of guest beers (like the recent Oktoberfest), and some great wines. Food menu changes frequently to match the drinks festivals, although there are some regulars like the Sunday roasts. Nice atmosphere and a... More
