Yummy food, would visit again

Really enjoyed the food here. Would recommend for burgers and steak. Ideal for a casual lunch. Good service. Food was served very fast. We could hear the chef having an argument in the back but the workers apologised for this and it didn't affect our meal Unfortunately they don't serve tap water

Love this place. Not the easiest to get to if you're going by car but there's pay and display nearby. The staff are very kind. Can get busy and order might take a little while to come but it's a good place to make yourself comfortable. The food is superb. 2-3 visits and we've tried different things on the menu... More

I went with a friend on a Sunday afternoon. Was nice and quietish. Decor is lovely. Service was as it should be, not continuously annoying but polite and friendly. We had chicken steaks which were huuugggeeee And the complimentary olives (with some sort of dressing)were quite nice too. Would definately go back again and try something different

I visited on a Sunday afternoon with my wife. Service and pleasant staff. We ordered a mixed plate with 2 side (£20). It contained 4 king prawns (not worth it), 4 fried chicken strips (ok), 4-5 chops (nice) and 6 chicken wings (ok) with fries and onion rings (ok). The sauce is what makes some of the plate tasty not... More

Food was good and service was attentive. No complaints at all. Although its not on top of my list to visit if I'm in the area, I certainly would go back there if i wanted a decent place to dine.

The place itself is on Brick Lane among all the other eateries. It is themed to be South African but no sincere effort has been put into it. The back round music is so annoying, just a bird twitting away on repeat. I am definite the jungle sounds are much more pleasing to your ears then this. The decore could... More

Count on it as your local fried chicken shop and you won't be disappointed. The food was not too bad but nothing special. The lunch menu had a steak which I've ordered it was spicy but tasteless. The cooking skills and food preparation is below average.

Visited twice in the last year. Food is excellent, everything we have ordered is well presented and good quality. However the décor needs updating and chef/waiters need to sort out their uniforms. Overall good place for quick bite, also can I add it is quite reasonable. They even gave us a bottle of non-alcoholic champagne to take home.

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighborhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
