Went for the jungle platter which consisted of 2 lamb chops, 3 chicken wings and a chicken skewer and a side (I have roast potatoes). The roast potatoes were lovely.. However the main meal itself was smothered in the same sauce. Everything else tasted the same which made me question how fresh it was. All in all, it was an... More

The food is great here - I can speak for the steak since that's all I've had here. The service is great, and they offer a discount on the second visit. Very generous portions and fast service also in my experience. Halal food.

Love the food. Go there on regular basis. It was so nice when I first ate there so I took all my friends & family. They have started going there on regular basis too. They all love it too. The chops are the best. Can't get enough of em.

Good halaal food, friendly service. If you want a decent halaal meal then you won't go wrong. I was pleasantly surprised. Thumbs up!

Had a great lunch today of beef steak with chips - plenty of beef, nicely cooked and smothered in their special sauce. The service was very friendly, we went at the busiest time of the day and they still managed to fit our large group. All for less than £7 including the drink!

From having lived in SA and having a South African boyfriend, we can confirm that this is NOT worthy of being called South African, the meat is very bad quality. The burger patties were frozen processed meat and the borewors were like cheap vienna sausages. TERRIBLE! Call out to all South Aricans...DO NOT EAT HERE!

Halal South African restaurant - well, one wall painted with an elephant, animal skin on one wall - usual restaurant brown tables....friendly service.... Had the rump steak - this was fine but nothing special in terms of a very tasty marinade and/or being particularly tender;+ the jungle salad with roasted chicken strips - again this was fine... Overall, ok for... More

Really average food but the good thing it's not expensive. I've been here a few times and the service is a hit and miss which is a shame. Not to fan of the decor or the cleanliness.

There's alot of these grill type places opening up in east london and they're all the same. Frozen gourmet burgers and grilled chicken. Boring decor and over priced. This place is a little different as it offers somewhat of an african twist every now and then.
