Exquisite food and service!

A delicious meal where the flavours really complimented each other. The service was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. I never would have found this place; it was highly recommended by a friend. I will definitely be taking my Italian friends there!! Thank you!

I've been to this fantastic family owned Italian Resturant twice and on both occasions I was not left disappointed. Upon arrival you are greeted by the owner and made to feel at home straight away. The service and the attention to detail is second to none. The food is absolutely beautiful. You can taste the freshness and the love and... More

I recently returned from the office after yet another superb lunch at De Palo's, where the owner and staff make every meal a truly memorable experience. The menu is fairly small but every dish is authentic homemade Italian food of the highest quality. I can't praise it highly enough. It's great to see the business flourishing. It's constantly packed at... More

Very useful restaurant to know about and enjoy - the care and concern of the hosts is first class - a welcome reminder of what running a family restaurant and business ought to include - the guests are just that, and get treated accordingly - highly recommended

I was fortunate to be taken here for a nice lunch on Friday last week. I had never been in this restaurant but smell the gorgeous smells when walking up St Bride's Avenue, behind Fleet Street. Its a busy place at lunchtime - it went quieter at 1.50 pm so, if you are in a hurry, a late lunch is... More

I was taken here for a business lunch and whilst it takes some finding it is well worth the effort!! It is not huge and the menu choice is not extensive but the quality of the food is excellent!! We were greeted warmly and the staff were attentive and helpful. Despite it being a busy lunchtime our order was taken... More

If you are looking for traditional homemade cooked food, go to De Palo's. Italian mother is cooking ! Informal setting, not overpriced.

De Palos is a gem buried in an old enchanting alley way just off busy Fleet st. The owner couldn't any more welcoming, friendly and helpful. His food is rustic, extremely tasty and very filling! ( I am not sure how anyone could say the portions are small!). It's unpretentious, cosy and with a buzzy vibe. I only have good... More

Staying overnight on business, I didn't fancy the hotel restaurant which was overly busy anyway. So I left thinking I might fancy Italian and I happened to spot De Palo's. Very pleased I came in as I've just had a delicious bowl of pasta,.glass of wine and now an espresso the like of which I've not had in a long... More

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
