The setting is pretty casual, the service pretty good and the food rather enjoyable. It is an unassuming place which is good for a casual dinner. I ordered a chicken dish which I cant remember the name of but it was spicy and fantastic, a good reason for me to go back there. We were in a group of 4... More

I ordered Pad Thai with prawns, There were about 4 prawns and lots of soggy noodles.Disappointing. I won't be visiting again. It was a waste of the £9 I was charged.

We used to eat at Banana Tree some time ago, probably a year ago and have always enjoyed the food, vibrant ingredients and interesting cuisine. However we just ate this past saturday and food was boring, chewy meat and we didnt have the impression that the ingredients were fresh. Another thing is that it's extremely noisy but that's not a... I admit it is a good looking contemporary and cosy restaurant however food -main reason we got in- is average. We ordered the mango chicken (in combo) and the tamarind fish. The food looked cheap and tasted like the frozen precooked meals you get from sainsburys. Both chicken and the fish. the sides (in the combo) were also not special.... More

We've been coming here for ages now and it's perfect for a Friday dinner. It has a lively atmosphere, gorgeous food (love the chicken moneybags), great service and guess what, it's very reasonably priced. Get there by 7 as it always gets very busy.

The place is trendy and the food is terrific and plentiful. A wide variety of choices from different regions in Indochina. Our table selected Thai and Vietnamese dishes and everyone was very happy with their choice. The cocktail menu is also intriguing and the girls seemed to enjoy the "Dirty Thai Guy"!

Great evening. Fusion with unique great flavours and homemade samba on table. Crunch perfect on fish, prawn wing starter. Menu easy to read and helpful. Mains you can either go for traditional recipes or grill so healthy options (£8-15). Combo it up and get your rice, prawn crackers, a interesting fried vegetable ball and amazing thai type salad with your... More
