Good Ales and food

There we found good ales, and some tasty food with not expensive prices. Very good attendance. We had a nice time there.

Great food and helpful staff. The fish and chips and cold draft beer was as good as I have eaten in London. We went back again and took the family.

The food is absolutely fantastic. Rugby World Cup was on when we went here. So it was fully packed but we did find ourselves a table. They had organised an interesting quiz which we took part in. Overall enjoyed our dinner thoroughly. TIP: Try the Fish and chips and the saugages. Great choices of cocktails and mocktails as well. You... More

This wonderful sports pub was just down the street from our hotel and recommended as the best pub in the neighborhood by the hotel staff. They did not steer us wrong...the fish & chips we ordered and enjoyed were so good that we returned a second night during our stay for another order! Lots of televisions and while we are... More

We ate at this pub several times while in London. It has a good cozy atmosphere and is a genuine pub where locals drink. The manager is very friendly and made us feel welcome. Their steak and ale pie is delicious and well priced.

We had a decent pub meal of Steak and Ale Pie washed down by pints of good pub ale pulled at the bar. As with most pubs, don't expect someone to seat you and take your order. When you enter, just step up to the bar, order your pint and your food. You then pay for both and take your... More

We have eaten here twice in our three nights in London. The menu selection is very good, and a highlight is two meals for £8.45. Coupled with two beverages, one can have a complete meal for a couple for less than £15. The food is quite tasty, nothing fancy, but great pub grub. In addition to a good menu, they... More

A closeby place (Ibis Hotel) with a good selection of draft beers. Ordering a meal was more difficult since only a few items on the menu were available.

We went to this pub on our last night and found it really great, service was excellent and the food was great, good prices also. Had to wait a bit for our meal but they were very busy, so we didn't mind the wait, good atmosphere and friendly patrons too.

I've been travelling for 6 weeks through Europe and coming here has been some of the best hearty and reasonably priced meals I've had within the 6 weeks. It was so good I came back two nights in a row. I highly recommend!
