On a trip to Camden I had looked this up - stuck my head in about 11 o'clock to ask about the flavours (no queue) - I went back at 1 and Q out the door! Went for the Nutella and bread.......WOW! Just try it you won't be disappointed.

A great experience and a very good ice cream. This is in Camden Lock Place, it took us about 30 minutes by underground from Victoria Station. Well worth a visit.

This is without the doubt the best ice cream ive ever tasted in my life! The first time I visited I was awe struck by the science lab feel and how the passion the staff have transpires to the customers. The queue was out the door and everyone left looking like naughty school children! I tried the vanilla ice cream... More

This was the best ice cream of my life. I don't particularly care for ice cream, never have. Call me weird. But the texture of this ice cream was. to. die. for. And the flavors were fantastic - different but not weird enough to turn me off. I tried this with my sister (an expat) and my daughter with whom... More

Living in Surrey it's a helluva trip but once you get to Camden Lock you won't be disappointed. I'd go hungry and have 2 over the course of the day - brekkie and lunch! It's so smooth you won't believe it. I opted for vanilla and tarted it up with some sauce but to be honest would have been just... More

We made the trip out to Camden Lock just for Chin Chin labs and we're not disappointed. It's amazing to watch the ice cream made fresh in seconds and the ice cream and brownie sandwich tasted great. Slightly disappointed by the limited flavours on offer - but this is understandable I suppose given how the make it. The whole lock... More

The ice cream tastes like standard gelato that you would find in any traditional Italian parlour. The gimmick is that they freeze it in front of your eyes with liquid nitrogen. At over £4 for a little tub with a topping, you're looking at spending over £16 for an average sized family. Great service though.

The fun thing at Chin Chin it's you will try a completely different flavor of ice cream. I tried the basilic one, stange but very good. You can had some toping that you are not use too, like grilled white chocolat. The waiting is not so bad, be patient, it's Worthing.

Camden lock is a Mecca for any teen or pre teen and has a shed load of restaurants and street food stalls. Take your pick, but leave room for pudding! Chin Chin is a quirky ice cream shop that has mastered its art. Made with liquid nitrogen, the ice cream is the smoothest you will ever have, no ice crystals.... More

When I saw the website I thought this place must be pure gimmick but, being a sucker for gimmicks, I was straight down there. Outside was a long queue and I usually won't queue for food as queuing for food is something I associate with school dinners/the former Soviet Union. The weird thing is that this time an inner voice... More
