Pretty cool experience, interesting to see the nitrogen instantly freeze everything. Don't expect the ice cream to taste any different from any good Italian gelato though! Service amazing. Flavours outstanding (get the truffle crumble!) Nice interior and right next door to some good independent Camden coffee and chocolate shops to go nice with the ice cream. £4 an ice cream... More

a true hidden gem in cambden. Would have never noticed it if wasn't for trip advisor. If you are visiting the area you must stop by. But I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Good ice cream, probably one of the best I have had ( although not the best).

My girlfriend introduced me to Chin Chin, and we are now firm regulars there. I can't express how much I enjoy both the ice cream and the people who work there - the food is incredible (easily the best ice cream I've ever had, and ALWAYS interesting), and the people are always kind, friendly, and fun. Each week (pretty much)... More

I loved this place. Not only is it an exciting way to make ice cream...using liquid nitrogen. But the flavours they do are amazing too. The flavours seem to change every week and when we went the one we had was strawberry and hay!! As you go in they ask if you have been before and then talk you though... More

Although I'm not much into ice cream usually, we decided to seek out this place on a hot summer day since we had seen it mentioned as a playful, informal place dabbling in molecular gastronomy. It is located by Camden Lock, bordering the always delightfully chaotic market. The specialty here is ice cream made with liquid nitrogen, and some quite... More

It really has a rich chocolate creamy texture and with a cool concept is an interesting place to try. They have a limited menu of what was available, but I believe they have specials daily. I was intrigued by the process of the ice cream making that you can see happening in the back of the shop, with the liquid... More

Ice cream has - maturely - been my favourite food for years now, and I'm always keen to try the best a place has to offer. I was absolutely delighted, then, to discover Chin Chin last year: the spectacle, the toppings and, of course, the ice cream itself, are all amazing: genuinely some of the best, smoothest ice cream you... Quite difficult to find, but this is certainly worth a visit. It is interesting watching how the ice cream/sorbet is made and the service is very quick. Reasonably priced at £4-00 for a made-to-order ice cream. We tried three flavours and all were superb! The toppings are also lovely. Please note that the shop opens at 11am so don't get... More

The best ice cream you ever taste. Full stop. Try the chocolate topping. Good idea is to pick it up and eat by the canal. Cool staff.
