We had made a reservation but when we arrived it did not make any difference as we were shown to any table that was available at that moment. We had the antipasta for two to start which was excellent value and good quality which we enjoyed. For the main course we both chose the Lasagne which we found too rich... More

We found this restaurant by asking after walking miles to find another. Well weren't we glad!! The food was delicious and the service was warm and friendly! It was great quality, hearty home cooked Italian meal and it will definitely be the top of our list to revisit when we return to London next year.

On a recent unexpected trip to London, I found myself near Oxford Circus on a Wednesday night, we hadn't planned the trip and therefore had not researched any restaurants. We stumbled on Bar Remo, and we were both highly delighted with our choice. We started with the garlic bread, which was absolutely delicious, and probably the best I have had,... More

I went to this restaurant with a group of English friends to catch up. We all thought that this restaurant was fantastic! It is easy to reach -not far from Oxford Circus tube, the staff were fabulous, food was delicious and it was not too noisy. As an Australian, I would definitely recommend this restaurant as the food was fabulous... More

Stopped off here prior to a night at the Palladium, (ideally located) and had one of the nicest Italian meals. The pizza's the kids had we all agree were the best we've ever had, and the 2 pasta dishes we had were sublime. Only niggle we had was the 12.5% service charge added onto the bill automatically, unusual for a... More

Searched Tripadvisor for somewhere to have lunch on my recent business trip to London and Bar Remo popped up on the list with great reviews. Found it easily and was really glad I did. Great staff, superb food and nicely priced too. Plenty of Italians popped in to say 'ciao' to the owner whilst I was there and that only... More

This was our lunch stop when we were shopping in Oxford. A nice little cafe on a side street. Sitting inside made us feel like we could have been in Italy. The staff (mostly Italian) were all very friendly. We had the burrata (which was nice but could have been a tad saltier IMO), a pizza (nice crust and generous... More

London has over 17000+ restaurants so it's nearly impossible to find something of value and quality no matter where you are in the city. Thus, I was overjoyed to find a restaurant in my location in the top 200. On arrival Bar Remo was quiet, we were given our choice of table and perused the menu. Extensive, descriptive and ofcourse... I have now been to Remo three times. I have had a pasta dish, pizza dish and a desert and all has been typically italian, good portion size and incredibly tasty. I have recently been to the Amalfi coast in Italy and I can say this restaurant is as Italian as every place I went. You won't be disappointed! Try... More

Found on Tripadvisor when looking for somewhere to eat close to Oxford Circus. Recent reviews were spot on. We arrived at 6pm, no reservation, the staff were friendly and efficient. Food arrived promptly and was delicious. Fantastic value for money in the heart of London. Will definitely be back on our next visit.
