Nice place

Good place for after-work food and drink - really nice wine, good food and service. Liked the venue and will definitely visit again. Had no complaints other than smoke from the outside diners being blown into the restaurant.

The place looks great and feels different (in a good way) with the food offerings on the wall and some unusual items combined with artisanal wines and products. The service was sketchy and lacked attention - errors crept in and we found ourselves confused and not really having a good experience as a result. The food was good if a... More

My wife and I stopped here after brief walk around Covent Garden, just fancied a glass of wine. There is of course plenty to choose from. Tables inside or out, service was okay if not a little slow to take our initial order. Food was okay but nothing to remember. £22 for a sharing platter and two glasses of wine.... More

Called in after a days shopping. Decided to have a beer instead of wine. The wine list was fantastic though with choices from the very reasonable to the reasonably expensive. The draught beer was excellent and the French bottled cider my partner had was very good too. The staff were very helpful, especially with a couple who couldn't decide which... More

Called in whilst out Christmas shopping and had a cheeky cheese board and sherry in the section that is the wine shop (not the actual restaurant). It was really good and we took home a fantastic bottle of red. Very knowledgable staff. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely space in a great location, especially for pre-theatre. There is a good atmosphere and I can see why it might be a good place for a glass of wine and maybe a cheese board but I wouldn't order anything else beyond that. I ordered the lamb shoulder, which was supposed to be roasted. This is a... More

We came here on a Saturday night (having booked) for an early pre-theatre dinner, and, overall, it was very good. The wine list is very interesting - and is the only place in London I've seen Croatian wine (which I tried, having drunk plenty in Croatia last summer!). The food - with one exception - was excellent: the smoked haddock... More

I am so happy I discovered this really unpretentious place minutes from the madness of Covent Garden which is neither a tourist trap nor a chain (increasingly rare in that area). Great changing wine list at reasonable prices with some gems from lesser known wine producing countries like Slovenia and Austria. You can book a table for dinner or sit... More

Popped in as we were passing great setup and loads of wine to choose from, only stayed for one drink but did really enjoy the wine we had.

Quite famous for the rude waiter, as you can see from the other poor reviews, but when my wide asked for a small glass of Chardonnay( 125ml) followed by a second, we hardly expected the total for the two glasses to be £29. One would have thought the famously rude waiter would have advised us of this extravagant purchase before... More
