Good food & great wine choice to accompany

Waiter was very knowledgeable and happy to educate me about the different wines that were available. Food was all excellent - save room for a pud. Only small disappointment is that although open all day Friday kitchen closes from ?? till 5, so having arrived early for a pre-theatre dinner we... read more

The 10 Cases has an excellent and interesting selection of wines by the glass, which works well for us, because I like white wine, and my husband prefers red. The food, locally sourced and very fresh, is skillfully cooked and artfully presented, and it's delicious. The service is friendly and enthusiastic and perfectly paced.

Really great place in Covent Garden - not huge but spacious enough and with one of the most intriguing wine lists we have seen for years. The food was great too - we went for squid and octopus starters followed by the cote du boeuf to share between two - really good. Service friendly but not intrusive - difficult balance... More

Sat watching the world while chatting and eating. Took a recommendation about the wine as the one I chose had finished. It was very good......Joyous evening.

I had a very pleasant business lunch on a table that was in the pleasant spring sunshine. Very pleasant and knowledgable waiting staff who recommended a carafe of beautifully crisp Portuguese white wine that went perfectly with our soft shell crab starters and chicken and salmon mains. A great venue that clearly has a very strong following. Nowhere else nearby... More

This was a brilliant experience! There was a real buzz in this small but perfectly formed bistro. We wanted to go somewhere relaxed but with great food but unpretentious and we got exactly that.

We were shown to a table for three people in the Cave a Vin that was squashed in a tiny space, which meant I was seated directly in front of the wall mounted wine glass rack. We ordered wine, cheese and charcuterie selection which were fine. The member of staff kept reaching over us for wine glasses- not ideal, but... More

this is a wine bar one side and the bistro the other. I have used the wine bar several times and has a great selection plus nice cold cuts of meat and cheeseboard. I used the bistro next door recently and sat outside. it's great for brunch or lunch as it's nicely in the sun in a relatively quiet street... More

Good selection of wine, even the "house" is decent and cheap. Relaxed, casual and cosy. I could sit here drinking and eating bread (also very good) all day.
