I took my wife here yesterday for a chocolate afternoon tea treat, using an Amazon local voucher. The setting is nice, on the banks of the river with views over to imperial wharf. I went for the chocolate orange martini which was a bit different but nice. The sandwiches were tasty but not very delicate, what was served for two... More

The sandwiches came up on a plate and they were very large, should have really been finger size. The cakes were disappointing and the fruit tart was positively soggy. Scones were quite nice with the cream and jam but overall very disappointing, especially as we took some really good friends there.

The Staff is well mannered especially Ms AGA, sharp and efficient in her work. The Breakfast was great. I enjoyed my six day stay there.

We were lucky to find an Amazon voucher for Champagne afternoon tea at the Rafayel and have just returned home after thoroughly enjoying the food and view. Lovely sandwiches, great scones with jam and cream, cakes and strawberries and marshmallows to dip in a chocolate fondue. Friendly staff, great view and delicious food.

We had the chocolate afternoon tea at the Rafayel having purchased a voucher from Amazon Local. Having read some of the reviews we were a little concerned that it may not be very good, but were pleasantly surprised. The staff were extremely attentive and we were given fresh drinking water as we sat down and then asked what we initially... More

Fantastic view with heaters to make sure that you don't get cold even in a London Summer. The food was great - fantastic choice. My daughter and I really enjoyed our meal and will definitely go again.

If you looking for a different high tea experience this is the place. Off the beaten track but very enjoyable. Rest assured there are no dainty portions here and the food is of good quality. We sat outside literally on the Thames. Service was friendly.

We loved our afternoon tea at Rafayel on the Left Bank, and felt it provided great value for money. Excellent quality ingredients used to make very well-presented and tasty food. Lovely delicate items, just as an afternoon tea should be. Lovely to sit on the riverside.

We had lunch and evening meal at the Rafayel, it was that good, so ate again here the following evening. The staff are a credit to the restaurant, very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and they use only the very best ingredients. The Aberdeen Angus, fillet steak is to die for. And the chicken tikka starter is succulent,... More
