We went to Bierschenke around 4pm and all tables were reserved, but they gave us a table anyway. We ordered the shared meal with meatloaf, Nuernberger sausage, bratwurst red cabbage. It was fantastic. Our girls both had a sausage dish that was equally wonderful. We wanted to thank Eva for all her help and great service. She answered all of... More

We were a group of 6. It took us about 10 minutes (!) to get the waitress' attention to order some drinks. 20 mins later we were ready to order some food - rather than the staff anticipating this, we had to ask for the menus. Ordered 3x Wiener schnitzel, 2x mushroom salad, some chips on the side and 1x... More

We booked a table here for a birthday party. Sadly, the evening was so disjointed, due to very unnecessary issues, the evening become more of a frustration than a celebration. Our server started the evening both friendly and attentive. That lasted for about 5 minutes. She would take the drink orders from only a small percentage of the table before... More

What can I say? I've been there three times now so I believe I can provide a decent evaluation. The food sounds great, everything you can ask from a German traditional menu. Value for money for FOOD is great, you get massive portions - as usually in Germany - and it's all very tasty. When it comes up to the... More

This place recently opened up in the building previously occupied by Henry's. It's an odd one; a very sweet young lady was keen for me to start a tab, but I politely declined as wasn't up for giving them my card. I opted to order at the bar and was served by a grumpy fräulein who shrugged when I asked... More

Lovely food & staff. Beers were decent Munich beers. Lacking atmosphere, though it was a tuesday night. Full of Germans which is a good sign. The only odd thing we found was that they either wanted to keep your bank card or you had to order & pay at the bar before you got your food. Wasnt up for the... More

Visited very early evening with family so hardly anyone else there. Despite this, service was a bit slow so it makes you wonder what it would be like if it was busy! Food was very nice though, nice and hot and well presented, so no complaints there. What we didn't like though, and others have mentioned it too, is that... More

Arrange a birthday meal here with some friends and we were not disappointed! The beer is great. The food, whilst not gourmet, was plentiful (portions are outrageously large) and the band were superb, very loud to begin with, but maybe the beer helped out with this? Can't recommend this place enough and a huge thanks to Eva our lovely waitress.

I went to Bierschenke last week, was the first time ever for me in a German restaurant. I had a Snitzel and Paulaner beer which was just sooo tasty. After that experience I think I really gotta go to October fest! Our waitress Julia was one of the loveliest waitresses I ever had. She also speaks German fluently! All in... More

Found this pub by mistake when out with a mixed group of friends last Saturday night, only been open a few weeks. Had a cracking good night, great beer, air conditioned, warm welcome and huge food portions and large drinking tables and to top it off the band came out and the pub had a great sing a long. Going...
