Description: Loosely translated as ‘Sardinian flavours’, this cosy family-run newcomer on Fulham Road nails its regional colours to the mast with a menu that highlights the island’s rustic specialties and native produce. Come here for bowls of spaghetti laced with bottarga (dried mullet roe), malloreddus ‘gnocchi’ with sausage ragù and pecorino or monkfish wrapped in Sardinian air-dried ham (served with sautéed courgettes, chilli and mint). The kitchen also knocks out its share of trattoria staples, from grilled calamari with tangy salmoriglio dressing to seafood risotto and calf’s liver with butter and sage.

As long-standing Fulham residents we had seen the premises now housing Sardo Sapori changing hands a few times so weren't sure what to expect for our first meal at Sardo Sapori. The premises have been transformed to a very welcoming space with a Mediterranean feel. We walked in to a noisy dining area but were shown to our table at... More

First off it's such a cute little restaurant, as soon as you step in you're greeted with the warmest smile by the staff. We went on a week day and it was packed full already around 8pm. Service was very good, staff were attentive and courteous. Every dish was flavorsome and delicate - will definitely go back!

We visited this restaurant last night. Tree of us tried the mussels and the grilled squids, all very good. For main we had sword fish, chicken and a steak, again all very good. All the staff was very good and friendly. We will definitely be back and recommend to all.

Very nice Italian staff, pretty standard food, not much imagination the kind of menu you find in a lot of Italian restaurants in London. Wine list pretty average for London I personally feel there are plenty of better Italians even in this area of London. Also kew verde is very similar in style and the chef there is more creative... We visited Sapori Sardi on Saturday. The restaurant has very nice cozy welcoming atmosphere. The menu is tempting, and they provide truffle menu with reasonable price. All dishes are served beautifully. We tried spaghetti bottarga, seafood risotto and black truffle tag libertine. Seafood risotto was very nice. I think they can use more brodo for pasta, but still very nice.... More

As a local to the area I was thoroughly looking forward to coming here. I had heard very good things from various people and the reviews on trip advisor were pretty hard to ignore. To say the least my expectations were very high- and unfortunately they were not met. I say unfortunately as I really wanted the food to be... More

While not in the center of London, this restaurant was worth the trip and easy to find. The service and food were excellent. The wine choices were also good.

Lovely little restaurant. Well looked after, catered well for gluten intolerance, delicious food and special treat at the end as it was my birthday. Great restaurant!

It takes a little bit to get here via public transportation but it is definitely worth the journey. We arrived here on a Monday night, so it was a little slow; however, that did not take away from the aesthetic but enhanced it. The Resturant isn't that big, seating for approx. twenty and there's some space in the back which... More

As I write this in the boredom of my vocation, about 1448.1 miles (sic) - according to Google maps - a close friend of mine is lapping up the Sardinian sun, enjoying the cool sea breeze and more importantly eating the most wonderful foods and sipping on the finest wines Sardinia has to offer. Now, what can come close to... More
