Small, compact but amazing food. Passionate staff. Lovely place. Can't wait to return. Some diners expect to stand & eat at the bar. Some bar stools avail. Well worth it.

Love this place. Always great food and vibe. Cool minimalist place where the food does the talking. Much better that it's grown up sister restauatant down the road!

Yes everything is nice and tasty. And yes, it's central London, so it's obviously overpriced! It could be very busy some times and there may be a long queue!

Arrived about 8:30 on a Friday night. The place was packed with little room to move. The staff got me a glass of wine and put me on the list for a spot. I waited for about 30 minutes, jostling for standing space among the staff, others waiting, and the diners. Finally got a spot at the window counter. I... More

I visited last night and was shoved next to the coat racks at the far corner of bar. I had a drink whilst waiting for my friends, one arrived and didn't fancy eating crammed up against the corner standing up. We asked for the bill and were told we couldn't leave without buying tapas! The waitress and the manager were... More

Limited choices indicating that the food was fresh. All the dishes we ate were cooked to perfection and full of flavour. A nice pit stop. Located close to the Borough Market

This awesome little place is a gem ! It's mega busy so expect to wait , but the great atmosphere makes it a pleasure to soak in the Spanish vibe while enjoying a sneaky estrella ! Once we received our food it was to die for , the best tapas I've had outside of Spain , couldn't recommend enough ,... More

I was recommended this place by a friend who is from Madrid. The tapas on offer is the best I have ever tasted, all the ingredients seem to be sourced directly from Spain itself and the all the dishes we ordered tasted great. Only downside is that the place is small so don't expect to walk in and have a... More

Went today after visiting Tower Bridge. Charming little corner restaurant with an amazing staff to customer ratio. We tucked ourselves into a small corner counter mid afternoon and enjoyed the bustle, without feeling too cramped. One of the issues with tapas is they all come together so out first three dishes arrived and perched on the small counter. Delightful padron... More

Neighborhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
