We've eaten at lots of branches of Cote (though usually Tavistock Street) and this branch was a pleasant surprise. Calmer than Tavistock Street, though equally well-situated, our experience was relaxed, calm and the food was equally as good, if not better. We were a party of 7 with one coeliac (who had the gluten free menu). Starters ranged from calamari,... More

We had reserved a table for four for 7:30pm on Saturday. One member of our party was almost 2 hours late but all the time we sat and waited we were made to feel very welcome by the cheery staff. The menu offered plenty of choice, the starters and main courses were all of excellent quality and well presented and... More

A lazy afternoon meal, menu was good, the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time in spite of it being busy. Our waitress was excellent, really helpful and friendly. I will be returning to this brand again.

We were a large family group of 13, including 2 young children and 2 infants. As we entered the restaurant, we were struck by the friendly way all members of staff greeted us. The food was very good and the service outstanding. We asked Vivienne whether Cote had Gluten-free bread, and without our knowledge, she went down the road and... More

Absolutely delightful lunch with friends at this understatedly smart eatery. The staff were welcoming and friendly without exception, offering knowledgeable wine advice. The set menu was great value, £11.70 for two courses - I enjoyed the crayfish starter and sea bass main course, which was scrumptious. My companions thought the soup and steak options very tasty also. Everything was served... More

Very good food and nice atmosphere. 3course meal $13.50 if you go before 7pm. Really nice coffee to finish off and they even renewed my coffee because they saw something wrong with it (I didn't) Just notice they already put 12.5% tip on the bill, but you can remove this if you want and just give your own tip. Great... More

Had a delicious, extremely reasonable three course pre-theatre meal. I was apprehensive that the deal would be small portions of pretenscious food but it was lovely. The restaurant had a great atmosphere with plenty of seating and attentive staff. So pleased we ate there before going to see Swan Lake which was magical. Would definitely eat here again and can't... we always go to this restaurant either before a show or after an event at one of the nearby galleries. The early evening menu is fantastic value - £11.75 for two courses - we had deep fried calamari to start followed by steak frites, and you couldn't really fault it for the money. Wines by the glass are reasonable, the... More
