We recently stayed at the St. Martin's Lane Hotel and had breakfast one day at the Cote Brasserie. the service was attentive and the food was very good. There was a very nice fruit plate and the omelet was excellent. Had not known that this was part of a chain, but it certainly did not feel like that. Excellent, attentive,... More

if your looking for a quick pre theatre dinner this place is not half bad - good value but small portions mean if your really hungry go elsewhere, prompt service gets you out in good time. recommended

This is a chain all around London. The food is actually quite good. Lovely nicely dressed salads, appetizers are diverse and main meals are tasty. It is inexpensive for London so the mains are not huge but with an appetizer you have plenty of food.

This chain of Brasseries provide a consistent quality of service, food and ambiance. Very pleasant waiting staff but not always as attentive as they might be.

We chose this restaurant for pre theatre dinner as it is close to The Noël Coward Theatre and offers a special set menu up until 7pm, for under £12 for two courses. The welcome was warm, the service was good and the food classic French bistro, done well.

We were a party of six who had booked for lunch prior to a west end show and were very warmly welcomed. The food was excellent the dressing on the calamari was delicious, the flatbreads just right, not too heavy and the minute steaks done superbly, we all enjoyed our chosen dishes. The service was second to none but not... More

Made reservation for Friday evening after arriving in London late afternoon. Busy as expected, but food and service very good and also good value. My wife had the Tuna Salad Nicoise and myself the Steak Frites. Service was professional and friendly and the food came up quickly. No complaints.

I'm glad we had a table reserved on a very busy Friday night. Service was decent though despite being busy. Starters - boudin noir with sauteed apples and poached egg was excellent, calamari crisp and tender. Main course lamb shanks were good and well sized, rib-eye steak nicely trimmed, cooked perfectly, bearnaise sauce was good, hot and crispy fries -... More

Ate here in the interval between the Wolf Hall matinee and the Bring up the Bodies evening performance at the nearby Aldwych Theatre. It was a nice day so we sat outside at one of the pavement tables. Had a tuna nicoise salad with a tuna steak and a chicken and walnut salad - both excellent and large portions -... More

We have visited various branches in London and used to live near to the one in Kensington. We were tempted into this one on our way to the theatre as a result of the offer of a free Kir Royale if we presented our tickets. We had the very keenly priced pre-theatre menu. Service was slow to start so we... More
