We had an very good meal here before the theatre nearby. Good atmosphere, excellent service, pretty good food - all in all a good experience. We had the lunch time set menu choice which was very good value for money. Wish restaurants wouldn't include a 12.5% service charge on the bill, seems often the case in London - it does... More

We popped in to this branch of Cote for a quick Sunday night supper. We both ordered the reliable chicken and chips which is a Cote staple. Unfortunately when the food arrived (a little too quickly) it was apparent that that particular chicken had been sitting around long past iit's serve-by time. Tough and cold. When we pointed this out... More

Celebrated meal with 5 friends. Chose set course of mussels and steak with frites. Extremely tasty. House wine excellent. Staff extremely efficient attentive and very pleasant. Had a really enjoyable experience and would highly recommend this restaurant to others.

We enjoy French cuisine, especially when celebrating our wedding anniversary(honeymoon spent in Normandy and Brittany, francophone antecedents), and have enjoyed the St Martins Lane Cote Brasserie before. Tonight, I think they've excelled themselves. Tomates Brecon to start for both of us -a variety of tomatoes, green, yellow and red on chargrilled bread with goats cheese - followed by pea and... Having had an excellent dinner at another Cote we decided to try this for a light lunch. We enjoyed a very pleasant vegetarian risotto - and when we pointed out that one of the ingredients was missing, we were rapidly brought the missing item. Although it should not have been missing, we were still very happy with our meal and... More

I have eaten at several branches of Cote but this was definitely one of the best. We had booked for a pre-theatre meal and although the restaurant became very busy the staff were friendly and helpful at all times particularly Rachel who was looking after us. The Kir Royale on the house was an unexpected bonus! The meal was delicious... More

Last evening six of us went to the Cote Brasserie for a pre-theatre supper. There was obviously a huge problem in the kitchen, to the extent that we nearly had to leave before the main course arrived. I'm giving the restaurant a "very good" rating because our waiter and the manager were absolutely brilliant and couldn't have done more to... More

We have been to many Cote restaurants and are always impressed by the quality and consistency. As we were going to see Shakespeare in Love at the Noel Coward Theatre, we were offered a free Kir, which was everything a Kir should be. We got there at 18:00 to leave at 19:20 for the theatre at 19:30. First courses were... More

Yes it is one of a chain of French restaurants and yes there are a few in London but having ventured into this one looking for a good quality pre show dinner, I was not disappointed and mildly surprised at the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. It was a very busy restaurant when we ventured... More

I arranged pre-theatre dinner for my Dad's 60th birthday at Cote St Martins Lane. I booked it on-line and made a request that we have a nice table as it was a special birthday. The team did everything they could, and more to make the meal special, including complimentary Kir Royal for us all, and bringing out the we had... More
