Don't be fooled into thinking you're getting a good deal by reading the advert on the back of your theatre tickets - anyone can get that price and it's still too much. The food was cold and the steak and chips consisted of a chewy cold steak with about 10 chips. The restaurant was noisy and staff seemed to have... More

This is a top spot. I came with friends and children and the menu was fine for even fussy kids You must book though. If I had one small criticism it would be that they have no complimentary chocolates Would I come back yes. Would I recommend it to friends yes

This was our first visit and certainly will not be our last, it was a busy Sunday night and we had (thankfully) booked previously. The service was excellent, friendly and also helpful with the menu too. The food was served in good time, cant stand it too soon or too late for that matter and they got it just right.... More

I took a party of 15 friends, post theatre. The staff were lovely, friendly and warm. The service was prompt, the food was lovely and the bill was unbelievably reasonable. And this is the busiest time of year. I can't reccommend this restaurant highly enough if you are looking for a cosy, good value brasserie in the centre of London.

Limited menu choice but everything ordered was tasty and served with a smile within a limited time. Great price for London.

Our first visit here and we will definitely return. Beautiful restaurant, very warm welcome and excellent service. French kitchen, good variety and imagination in the menu. It was Sunday so we were offered a set menu which was great and very cost effective. £13.65 for 3 courses and surprisingly the taste was excellent and the portions very generous. Well done,... More

We were a group of 14, and 10 of us had to send their dishes back because they were either raw or cold. And by cold, I mean really cold. Then it took a really long time for the dishes to be replaced, and when they came out, sauces and sides were missing for most people. And again, the food... More

It is as simple as that a great pre theatre early 2 or 3 course menu. Salmon tartare, minute steak, gorgeous chips and a great creme caramel. Washed down with a Corbières at not a lot of money. A very enjoyable simple meal smack bang in central London that didn't break the bank

We had a table of 14 of us, celebrating after our last Pastry exam. We were put downstairs, completely out of the way, for starters. The drinks took forever to come, which was already irritating. When our meals arrived, 9 out of the 14 meals were completely cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen. My meal was... More

My husband and I use Cote in St Martin's Lane when we want a quick and tasty bite to eat at lunchtime but we have also used the restaurants in Blackheath and Bluewater where the food and service have been just as good. This is an excellent chain where the food - especially the daily specials - is very good.... More
