Hi Judy here again, we went to Toscana in Sutton last night for our grandson James 24th Birthday, had a fabulous night Stephen James's dad paid for a singer who was a tribute to Michael Buble 'swaywithbuble@live.com, plus he did a selection of party classics he was absolutely fabulous, he also had disco lights which really added to the party... Nothing less than an icon of good Italian food in Sutton, I originally visited 40+ years ago when under previous ownership and named Trattoria Toscana, and for the last 3 or 4 years I have visited at least 2 or 3 times a year and have always had superb food with no complaints. Service is never rushed, but equally well... More

Family and friends use this restaurant all the time, typical Italian ,have a good choice of food, not particularly cheap.lots of specials which wet the appetite. Attentative service as long as they have a full staff on. They have a female singer on a Saturday night who is brilliant, opera and other music, she makes the night special. However choose... More

Toscana is a traditional Italian near the station in Sutton. Decor is trattoria style, with white tablecloths. Staff are always friendly and attentive. They have a daily specials board with an extra 3 choices for each course, and are happy to adapt dishes if required. Excellent wine list. Regular live music evening weekly. We have spent many a happy evening... More

We visited this after seeing it in Food and Drink Surrey. Very nice spag bol, with additional spicey oil, made all the difference. Excellent and very friendly service. The owner very chatty (not surprising after their World Cup win against England!), and had amusing exchanges with him. Will definitely visit again. Live music on Saturday and Sunday evenings.

I visited here for my friend's birthday with a group of 11. They had a live singer. The food was very good and we all stayed on for drinks and were politely kicked out at midnight in the end - we even had a dance after they cleared a few tables at 10pm and the singer switched some flashing lights... I ate here a couple of weeks ago & had a pretty terrible meal. I've tried all the italians in Sutton town centre and this one was by far the worst. The waiting staff were not particularly friendly & the food was pretty awful. I had carbonara which tasted totally unauthentic - it was overcooked spaghetti and had what tasted... More

Having missed my train home I came across this restaurant purely by chance. Great meal and superb service from the Italian owner who seems really passionate about food. Missed two more trains but worth it!

Visit here about 6-8 times a year. Ate here last night and on New Years Eve. Used to be really good, but seems to have lost something recently. New Years Eve, despite booking in early November, on arrival we were given a table without any of the stuff, blowers, streamers etc that every other table had. Had to wait ages... More
