Description: Palms of Goa is a unique Indian restaurant, serving distinctly Goan cuisine. The history of this special branch of cooking reflects Goas Indian and Portuguese heritage - the main ingredients being coconut and spices, creating a flavoursome and distinctive taste. Located on Londons bustling New Cavendish Street, Palms of Goa is a popular place for business lunches and after-work meals. The rich red interior and delicious, healthy food make the experience of dining here a memorable one, and our favourite dishes include the Lamb Xacutti, a Goan dish prepared with coconut, vinegar and hot spices, and the restaurants renowned Pumkin (sic) Curry. Palms of Goa has been in business for over thirteen years, and is a favourite spot for Soho diners.

This slightly café-ish restaurant is the best Indian food I have ever tasted. Nan bread, aubergine bahji and lemon rice are absolutely outstanding, all the other dishes are extremely good. It's a little bit cramped and noisy BUT THE FOOD!!!!!

3 points noted: 1. Excellent tasty food and delicious choices of Lassi drink 2. Friendly & Courteous service 3. Quantity of the portion could have been a bit larger for the money charged. All in all a decent place to dine.

On a recent trip to London we asked our Hotel for nearby locations. They mentioned several along Charlotte street. Palms of Goa was the right place, the right time and a decent price. The food was served nicely. We had three separate dinner entrees and all were very tasty. The garlic Naan was also quite good. We would definitely eat... More

Quick group of business friends meeting for lunch, and very well looked after. Solicitous about coeliac colleague, with manager not only responding to requests but actively making sure there was no doubt about how each dish was cooked. And they were well cooked - tasty, distinctive. Recommended.

I was looking for a good value lunch and chanced upon this unpretentious little restaurant in trendy Charlotte Street. Treated myself to the set lunch - £6.50 for a really tasty green masala curry, EXCELLENT tandoori lamb chops (exceptionally tender meat), perfect naan bread, and chick pea curry. If I was being picky I would recommend that they try harder... More

I have just returned from Goa and was definitely missing the delicious food. So on my trip to London, us girls decided to have lunch at Palms of Goa. I use this restaurant when ever I can. The food is excellent. Goan food is the best and this restaurant is wonderful. Service very very good. They do an excellent set... More

We had great food and great service throughout the evening. From the minute we walked in we were greeted with a smile. Dined on the set menu which was very reasonable, 3 courses and a glass of fizz for £23. They even had steak on the set menu which was delicious Everyone enjoyed themselves and so I can't fault it

Being Goan and having survived on pork mass...this was a disappointment...a true goan restaurant wouldnt make a curry out of this signature dish... It did taste north Indian in every sense... So if u are into north Indian food... Go here! Food was edible though
