Palms of Goa is a unique Indian restaurant, serving distinctly Goan cuisine. The history of this special branch of cooking reflects Goas Indian and Portuguese heritage - the main ingredients being coconut and spices, creating a flavoursome and distinctive taste. Located on Londons bustling New Cavendish Street, Palms of Goa is a popular place for business lunches and after-work meals. The rich red interior and delicious, healthy food make the experience of dining here a memorable one, and our favourite dishes include the Lamb Xacutti, a Goan dish prepared with coconut, vinegar and hot spices, and the restaurants renowned Pumkin (sic) Curry. Palms of Goa has been in business for over thirteen years, and is a favourite spot for Soho diners.

Top Curry in Noho

I visit many restaurants a week in London and all over the world and particular about a good indian and curry. Palms of Goa on Charlotte street is at up there at the top with the rest. Great food, especially the Goan chicken curry and one of the best mixed grills I have ever had in a Tandoori. If... read more

Ate here last Saturday evening we hadn't booked and just walked in off the street. We had the last available table for two the place is very small but the menu choice and the food served up was great.

This is a very good place to eat. My second time here didn't disappoint. Food is a notch or two above the usual and the presentation is simple and uncluttered. Staff are attentive and gracious. The Lamb Xacutti, in particular, is excellent. Charlotte Street has another worthy restaurant.

We were actually searching for another restaurant, but it seems to have disappeared. We are big fans of regional Indian cuisine, often seeking out new and different options so when I saw that the menu had Goa dishes, we decided to give it a try. The service wasn't fabulous (and we were the only ones in the restaurant since it... More

Nice Saturday night curry just opposite the lovely Charlotte Street Hotel Fish Thali, prawn Dhansak, Peshwari nan, mushroom pillau rice all very good. Nice house white wine too. Friendly service plus nice crowd of other diners. Home cooked feeling. And for London very good value.

We went to Charlotte Street for a family dinner (3 people) without having a precise idea about where to go exactly. It was getting late (around 10 pm) so we decided to trust our instinct and went for Palms of Goa. We were not disappointed and ended up paying about 25 £ each for a wide taste of Indian cuisine.... Best curry so far in London. Ok so London is not blessed with great Indian restaurants but really enjoyed this simple, clean, friendly Goan based restaurant, and very friendly service. Highly recommend the Goan chicken curry.

I tried to make a reservation for a table at this place but the person taking reservations was terribly rude. He slammed the phone down, not just once but twice! Will never visit this place. If I could give it 0 stars, I would! I can't believe I was looking forward to trying this place.

I ordered a dish I've ordered in every single Indian restaurant I've been to: chicken tikka masala. It's a dish that an Indian restaurant has no excuse in getting wrong. The dish turned out horrible! It was sour, watery, and tasteless... Like it was 3 days off. Asked the waiter about it, waiter said 'nothing's wrong with it'. I said... More

Been several times, very good business lunch and very reasonably priced. Have from set lunch or main menu. Good location in Charlotte St and beside some food bars. Definitely go back. Service good too.
