Palms of Goa is a unique Indian restaurant, serving distinctly Goan cuisine. The history of this special branch of cooking reflects Goas Indian and Portuguese heritage - the main ingredients being coconut and spices, creating a flavoursome and distinctive taste. Located on Londons bustling New Cavendish Street, Palms of Goa is a popular place for business lunches and after-work meals. The rich red interior and delicious, healthy food make the experience of dining here a memorable one, and our favourite dishes include the Lamb Xacutti, a Goan dish prepared with coconut, vinegar and hot spices, and the restaurants renowned Pumkin (sic) Curry. Palms of Goa has been in business for over thirteen years, and is a favourite spot for Soho diners.

Enjoyable curry

Went for a lunch with my colleagues on a Friday lunchtime. I ordered a veggie thali and it was tasty. The service is a little on the slow side but if you are looking for a nice curry in Fitzrovia then this comes recommended

Palms of Goa. Restaurant serving Goanese cuisine both non-veg and veg. More suitable for those fond of coastal cuisine. Introduced to us by a student family friend during our short visit to London. Located in Fitzrovia area Near to central London, closer to Tottenham road tube station. Offers decent price for meals, for set meals for veg /non-veg. Servings in... More

Visited last night as it was conveniently located. The exterior is uninspiring and dated, decor inside very plain, and toilets small and poky. But when it came to service and food things improved. Very efficiently run place. Menu was good with all the classics....although I didn't spot any of the Goan specialities I had when holidaying there earlier this year.... More

Three of us popped in here for a bite last week on our way to see the new Bond film. We nearly didn't as, although it was about 7pm, the restaurant was empty, which was a bit off-putting. We were, perhaps unsurprisingly, given a friendly greeting. The food was ok, if a bit under-spiced, but didn't warrant a return.

Charlotte street has such a variety of choice for restaurants and they're all so good, you were hoping that the Indian offering would be good and it was. Arrived with 2 colleagues to be greeted by the owner who'd be there for 21 years he gleefully announced. "Come in and enjoy!" That's a welcome you like to get. The service... More

I've been travelling around India but didn't become a fan of Indian food, probably because it was always too spicy for me. First time we went to this restourant purely because of the name & and my Goa memories :) It's a cosy family restaurant, food is always delicious and not too spicy, and it's good value for money.

I visited this small Indian restaurant with two of my friends for a meal on Friday. The restaurant was quite busy and the waiter pleasantly asked us to wait for few minutes and jokingly said its worth waiting, the food here is good and they been here in Charlotte St for 21 years. Surprisingly the food was delicious, it's definitely worth... More
