Love this restaurant, just had lunch. Food, staff and whole experience was wonderful. From the moment we arrived we were looked after brilliantly. Cannot wait to visit again.

We had dinner at Medlar recently, having previously been only once, 3 years ago. The restaurant did not disappoint us. The staff are friendly, well-informed and helpful and the atmosphere is informal. The food was delicious. The dishes are just a bit different and interesting. I was very happy with my stuffed squid starter and ox heart (very thin rare... More

I was very excited about this place especially as my neighbours next door to my home just up from Medlar kept raving about this place. Well I am very to deliver my verdict as only average. I eat out six times a week and i certainly know my good restaurants in London. This was one is only on par to... More

This place came highly recommended to us by others which we discovered was with good reason. The food was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The menu was varied and interesting and the wine list was comprehensive with a decent number of good wines on offer by the glass or 500ml carafe. The room itself is elegant and the staff are... Everything about this restaurant is good. The food is excellent as is the service which is delivered in an pretentious way. Try the signature crab ravioli to start and finish with the cheese board. I often go here for lunch which is very reasonably priced. Worth the walk down the Kings Road.

Great food. Creative menu. Fantastic and attentive service. Really friendly. Great wine list including Coravin by the glass which is a great innovation (albeit not my first choices of years for Bordeaux and Burgundy). Entrees a step better than Main Courses. Cheese board extensive but could have done with something sweet like a chutney or fruit alongside a great range... More

Back once again to my favourite restaurant in London. There may be better ones, although I doubt it, but the food ambiance and service is consistently superb. The wines lovely, the passion fruit marshmallow at the end with coffee just wonderful! We always go for lunch, sit in an alcove and cannot fault anything. Today I ate asparagus then rabbit... More

Restaurant quite known and fairly expensive, you can find here delicious dishes - and the fish is terrific! I had to wait a while to be served (15-20 minutes), the place is still comfortable and the waiters are young but capable. I can only recommend it.

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
