Simply love this place. Great value and excellent food, staff etc. they are very accommodating and can stay for a few glasses after lunch then on to the pub around the corner. One of my favourite places in sw area

I have reviewed this restaurant before and gave it a glowing write up when it first opened, but having returned today for lunch I felt moved to review again. The food was wonderful, presentation superb, and the restaurant certainly is high on my list of places to visit. We went in a party of four for lunch having booked a... More

We were very disappointed when we went to Medlar for a Tuesday evening dinner. The food was not exceptional - all flavours were familiar and on the heavy side. The chef is very generous with salt and starch (almost all dishes seem to have potatoes or equivalent like spatzle in them). In our opinion not worthy of its star. Shame.

We visited Medlar for Sunday lunch and the food was truly exceptional. The decor is pretty unassuming and the staff are attentive but not over the top, which made for a lovely relaxed Sunday lunch where we spent several hours ooohhhing and aaahhhing over each course. The food reminds me of Chez Bruce but dare I say it, is even... More

I chose Medlar as a pre-Valentines dinner venue with my husband based on all the good things I've read about it. Many a critic have called this place one of their top choices in London and I was intrigued, expecting something like the Ledbury but cheaper. The goods: The food was very good and reasonably priced even for dinner. No... More

We selected medlar because it has one michelin star and a set menu. The service was spot on, the atmosphere very pleasant and relaxed. The price for the quality very fair. The food very well cooked and flavoursome. But only one dish had what I would call the wow factor and that was the crab ravioli starter. would definitely go... More

As a lunch party of four we were all agreed that the food and level if service was outstanding. The sommelier recommended some delicious and affordable wines and we will all want to repeat the experience again very soon.

We were seated in the back room alone with no music etc. We had high expectations and everything from the food to service was horrendous. The wine was great but how difficult is that?;-) I wouldn't waste my time here. There are far better options in Chelsea.

A very hight quality food served by a very attentive and dynamic team is the principal quality of the Michelin stared restaurant. Added to that is a very good wine list from California to Australia crossing by France and a very nice modern decoration I recommend it.
