Great re-introduction to the London restaurant scene

Booked for lunch fairly last minute. Set lunch was great and fantastic value. Good wines by the glass too. Little loud perhaps.

One of the wonderful things about London fine dining restaurants is their outstanding service - its discreet, polished and very proper. Having said that, this spot takes an extra leap by serving some of the best Italian meals I've had in my life. The dining room is stylishly decorated.

My husband has had several business lunches here and come back raving about it each time, so when we were in the area together I told him that he could jolly well take me there, too! Service was faultlessly attentive and charming, from the very first moment. The food was gorgeous - especially my crab starter. I had a steak... More

The food was excellent and service great. The presentation of the food was very gimmicky but that does seem the way forward. I think it is defiantly somewhere to try once if you would like something different.

We could only get seats at the bar which is fine as the food choice is the same and you can still be seated. The staff were professional but not used to be friendly. Cocktails were offered, definitely have one (at about £12-15) they are great. The scallops for my starter were delicious, I normally like to have them cooked... More

We went there for a celebration meal and had the tasting menu. There were many delightful things on the not 8 courses as advertised but 11 or 12 depending on how you counted.all the extras that turned up. Of the delights the scallops that melted in the moth and the meaty fresh and perfectly cooked turbot stand out from a... More

This was a meal with my wife to celebrate her birthday. The venue is very nice and vibrant and the food is excellent, even for someone like me who is a fussy eater!! The service again was excellent. They were there when you needed them and left you alone when you didn't. I would strongly recommend this restaurant and I... More

The tasting menu is wonderful and the atmosphere is wonderful, the staff are trained to give you the best experience. They have a separate sweet bar where you get spoiled and you get a a full view of the chefs in the kitchen because they have a glass wall between you and the kitchen.

We had a great lunch! They have a bubbly car and chocolate drawer...in addition to great food. We had seabass and Truton - both og them excellent!

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
