We took a party of 5 here for a 50th birthday celebration, and were not disappointed. The room itself is stunning, but the atmosphere is still very relaxed - a good place to take a party. The menu has an excellent range, with some interesting choices for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. The food was superb - some of the best... More

We dined on a Monday evening. We were early so we had cocktails in the stunning bar!! The bar staff were friendly and the gin cocktails were lovely. The ricotta dumplings and foiegras starters were lovely. The venison main was excellent, however the monk fish main with n'duja was terrible. It was extremely overcooked and the n'juda was too over... More

One of London finest steakhouses!! Great food large side dishes. You can split most side dishes four ways. Old London atmosphere with a great wait staff. Can be crowds and noisy but outdoor space is great on a summer evening. Great spot for lunch if you want a more relaxing atmosphere. May not be London most elegant steakhouse but it... More

We dined here for our wedding anniversary & having had a very disappointing experience last year at a Michelin starred London restaurant, we were a little anxious. However, the food, service & atmosphere were impressive. We dined on a Sunday evening, the restaurant was quietish but the atmosphere was calm & pleasing, a few couples, friends & families present. The... More

I had a last-minute meal here with two friends over the Christmas rush. The service was great despite the restaurant being full, menu good but fairly limited. There is a lot of fish on the menu which makes a pleasant change. An expensive meal - but a lovely location and nothing to complain about.

Beautiful venue, OK food (a bit on the safe and easy side) and the price was what you would expect to eat at a place of this standard but the service, although charming, was haphazard. My partner was served his main course first and then after about 10 minutes I had to ask where mine was. It arrived very soon... More

Lovely atmosphere in the bar. Taken straight through to the restaurant but unfortunately we had to ask to be moved straight away as we were placed 2ft from the pianist! Other than that a nice Sunday lunch although my roast beef was surprisingly very fatty. I did mention it to the waitress but she barely acknowledged my complaint. Nice place... More

Had a lovely 2 course meal on the eve of my birthday. Attentive, pleasant staff. Delicious food. If you choose the set menu be aware that the choice is VERY limited - 2 starters, mains and desserts. Would have expected the table to have been set for us considering we had booked the day before arrival. Perhaps a bit unreasonable... More

I know it is London and a fancy restaurant in a beautiful atmospheric restaurant but the price of the meal for what you got was ridiculous. I ordered a sirloin steak which consisted of 6 slices of beef for £31. Stop being so mean! At least include a few vegetables with the steak. Vegetables cost extra. I had chips, about... More
