Authentic Persian Food

Everything on the menu is great, que is always long but it's definitely worth the wait. Try one of the traditional meals such as Koobideh with rice if you want to eat like a Persian.

I used to live locally to this place and it was always a real pleasure to dine here, and I visited on several occasions and took friends here. The marinaded kebabs are delicious and the kubbideh is top notch. It's served with fluffy, saffron infused rice which is also good. My wife is vegetarian and could always find interesting dishes... Tried this restaurant for the first time, had not eaten Persian food before a nice surprise, had a plate of mixed starters with pitta bread freshly backed in their oven, delicious, followed by gently cooked and marinated lamb pieces served on a fine bed of rice with salad, huge portions all round ! a great atmosphere and busy though mid-week,... Went for a quiet meal as there wasn't much else around the area and heard from others about this place. Unfortunately they didn't have a bar but allowed us to bring our own alcohol which was actually better. Incredible authentic bread and huge portions of lamb and chicken, would definitely go back!

We regularly come here for a very satisfying Persian lunch. The big lamb skewers are popular, but we prefer the delicious lamb stew with dried limes, tomatoes, and split peas. It comes in a big bowl, with a huge plate of rice. But we also order the specialty bread made on the spot. Service is quick and friendly.

Visited here for dinner last night with a colleague. We were shown straight to a table and served very quickly. We had originally planned to have lots of starters as we wanted to try them all but on reflection I'm glad we didn't. The mains dishes are absolutely enormous: simply too big for either of us to finish. I couldn't... More

Over the years I've eaten in dozens of Persian joints and I have to say this was the best kebab and rice I've had. Succulent, perfectly cooked the kebab was tasty but the rice was about as good as it's possible to get rice: fluffy yet moist with a gorgeous flavour. Starters were a tiny bit disappointing, not as packed... More

I started coming here as an alternative to southall. Me and a friend visited most recently as we like the decor and atmosphere. We are seated quickly and orders are taken soon after. This place gets busy on Friday and Saturday evenings with queues running down the street. The menu is simple with most dishes being meat/salad/rice. The portions are... More

Firstly ... I've been here loads of times and used to love the kebabs on bread. Had it this time and was good but not as good as I remembered. I would have given it four this time (and five on previous visits) but it only gets three as my wife has a reaction to onions and was told the... More

This restaurant is my local Persian restaurant. I used to take my guests to visit this restaurant because the food used to be so good and the staff were friendly and helpful. I went last week, and I am sorry to say, the standard of the food was so poor. The Joojeh chicken I had was so tough, you needed... More
