Staying near by at the Holiday Inn with their expensive breakfast we looked for somewhere else. Patisserie Valerie is great. Good selection for breakfast and they open early. Good value and excellent quality. Well done PV.

Lots to choose from in this rectangle of shops. Prob the most unusual one to choose for a breakfast. But glad I did. Large portion, all the usuals. Staff had to be called over but service was prompt. Tea though at £2.75 was very expensive.

Went for breakfast in this place with my wife and 7 year old. Nice place and the service was good. A bit of a language barrier between me and the person serving! I had the full English. It was very nice and well presented, although a little cold. My wife had poached eggs which were perfect. My daughter had the... More

I've had lunch here once and visited for afternoon tea once. I last visited for lunch, sandwiches are nice, slightly overpriced however the main thing is that the few times I've gone the service has been a bit hit and miss. One of the ladies is very nice but the others only smile once you give them a tip!! I... More

First visit to one of these restaurants. Service was slow and staff seemed to have a problem with providing tap water. Dined outside and staff seemed disinterested with several coming up to ask the same question. Quite a long wait for food and when it did arrive seemed expensive for the small portions. I had a vegetarian breakfast which left... More

It looked very promising from outside and smelled very nice as we stepped in, but this was the best of our visit. There were plenty of space but none of the staff or the manager took any attention of our appearance. We felt there was no customer care at all. Finally we had our order (breakfast), Looked very promising but... More
