One of their best

Friendly. Welcoming. And the usual great quality. It's worth paying a little more for guaranteed great coffee and their beautiful cakes

The service was far from satisfactory. I came into the cafe today to have lunch and neither of the two members of staff greeted me or even acknowledge me. After waiting at the counter for 5 minutes being ignored I finally had to ask if I could order some food. The staff wasn't particularly friendly either once I was served.... More

We've passed by the PV in Brunswick Centre but never gone in. Recently, we did. We bought a handful of pastries, a raspberry cream cake to home, and two sandwiches. Everything was quite good and the cake was very good. Having stopped by at various other local pastry shops, we though the PV was a cut above in quality, and... More

My friend and I went after work for afternoon tea and we waited 20 minutes and did not have our order taken so left. When we arrived the male staff asked if we want to take away or eat in. When we said the latter he told us to take a seat. We looked around until a customer moved her... More

Two coffees and one desert should not cost over £10. This is totally wrong. But that chocolate mousse will take me back there...

We stopped here a few times on our recent trip to London. Breakfast was very nice and the pastries even better. Friendly staff and quick service kept us coming back.

You have a certain expectation of a name venue like this one and it wasn't met here. To be fair it was getting on in the day on a busy Saturday but therein lies the test. It was uncomfortably warm but I'd been asked for my order twice by two different members of staff before getting my jumper off, let... More

Not the cheapest experience on Earth, but a pretty standard Patisserie Valerie one. The coffee and cakes we purchased were tasty enough, and service was both friendly and fast, but it was somewhat pricey!

We came here for Afternoon tea instead of West End sometimes because its closed to our place. For some reason, I found it better than Patisserie cafe at St Pancras station. Good tea and cakes for value of money.

Neighborhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
