Relaxed and great fondue and cheese range

I was expecting this to be too much food - so delicious but not as heavy as I feared. Great knowledge from the staff on food and wine. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

I loved my evening there. The food was delicious and I even tried cheese ice cream as something completely different. Me and a friend shared the set menu for £40. Its really good value for money with fondue, a small meat platter, raclette on potatoes and a carafe of wine. Me and my friend really loved it and also ordered... More

I treated my two sons to Sunday lunch here as I wanted something different. We sat outside and fortunately it was mild, as we weren't under their heaters - they only have 3 small high tables with stools inside. We chose a Classic Cheese Fondue with Charcuterie and a Blue Cheese Fondue, which were plenty. Both were delicious, but it... More

Happened across Androuet quite by chance whilst ambling through Spitalfields Market. Luckily we didn't have to wait long for a table - I can see why there's usually a queue. We had the moitié-moitié fondue from the set menu - a mix of Gruyère and Vacherin Fribourgeois cheese, served with bread, cheesy potatoes and a charcuterie board together with a... More

Amazing place for delicious cheese and wine. Service is authentic and genuine. So is the decor. The two brothers who own it are as delightful as is their product. Well done all around.

I came here with friends and had a great experience. You can't book, but our name was noted down and we were told it was a one hour wait so we went and had a drink and were duly called when a table was ready. Well worth the wait, the atmosphere was great, a little chilly outside but the blankets... More

Androuet located in the heart of Spitalfields market and is a relaxed, small cheese shop & bar to have a cheese fondue or a raclette with your friends while you are sipping a glass of red wine. The waiters are knowledgeable and definitely can help you to choose your cheese or wine. The place is cozy and relaxed and food... More

I really fancied some cheese so I researched some in London and this popped up. Although most of the numbers on the website didn't work. I did find one eventually. But then found out that they didn't talk reservations. We turned up at 6;30 and had about 15 minutes to wait for the table. All of the waiters were really... More

I went on a day trip to London for my birthday and heard from a friend that this restaurant was amazing. I booked ahead which I recommend as it's not a big place. I was not left disappointed by this visit. There was good service and it has a lovely atmosphere. The cheese fondue was perfect. If you love cheese... More

Great atmosphere, nice and helpful staff, good prices too. 3 types of fondues, 4 different sharing plates, salads, wines. Fondues are 13-15£ pp, but it can be enough for two people to share if you order something else. Nice seating outside with heaters and blankets, it was very nice and warm.

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighborhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
