Really nice for a different lunch

We popped in for a quick lunch. The place has a great atmosphere, the staff is friendly and the food is really nice. We will come back next time we are in the area.

I have visited this place on a winter afternoon just before Christmas. The served Gluhwine, offered blankets and heaters. Just like a holiday in the (French) alps. I loved it!

Authentic French atmosphere even though you are in the middle of commercial Spitalfields. Staff are great and the food is delicious!

Something out of the ordinary in Spitalfields market. Lovely fondue, charcuterie and cheeses. Service is excellent, with help and advice for novices. The fondue was easily big enough for two, and extra bread was supplied when we ran out. The mixed sliced meats were lovely, served with pickles, which made a snack into more of a meal. All in all,... Androuet has been my favourite restaurant in London since it opened, and has never failed to impress. However, I was a little disappointed this time, but hopefully the changes are only temporary, and we can look forward to the usual outstanding evenings we have had there in the past again soon. The food is still amazing, although more limited than... More

Undergoing refurbishment, the small main restaurant at Androuet is currently closed. However, it is still business as usual with the most being made of the outside seating space which faces on to Spitalfields Market. You can watch the world go by as you sit and delight in the taste of the wonderful cheese which is on offer. Choices of fondue,... More

The day before the meail we received an automated cancellation email with no explanation or apology for the inconveniece. The answerphone message at the restaurant seems to imply it is not serving meals. I suggest anyone... More

A cosy small restuarant offering a fantastic array of European cheeses which can also be purchased after to take home from its next door shop! Great service and food, just remember for the raclette you have to book a table outside!

Had an amazing dinner with my boyfriend. We were two and we had one very typical onion soup as a started. Was absolutely sublime. Then we took one fondue and one raclette with potatoes good size of charcuterie and bread. Everything was delicious, cheese was tasty but not too strong. We had a good wine of Bordeaux full bodied wine.... More

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighborhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
