Description: Absolutely, charmingly unique, the Bellaria Restaurant and Wine Bar in Londons upmarket Fitzrovia is a must for those tiring of the same old dining experience. From street level, Bellaria is quite simple a pleasant, attractive Italian restaurant with an inviting atmosphere, bright and simple dcor and the best seats of the house undoubtedly by the wide windows where one can watch the world go by. However, a few steps below and guests are transported to a whole other world. Bellarias basement level truly is straight out of an ancient fairytale, its bare stone walls with their arches, nooks and crannies complemented by chandeliers and trickster mirrors, low lighting casting a moody glow. Its the ideal setting for romance and a real surprise to everyone who discovers it. Upmarket and sophisticated, the menu of the Bellaria Restaurant is very much in keeping with its very special ambience, making good use of Italys most coveted produce in well-presented and elegantly creative dishes ranging from pastas and risottos to steaks and fish. Though a number of excellent wines are available, we cant help but be tempted by Bellarias vast and exciting cocktail list.

If you are an Italian food lover who has been to Italy and therefore knows how exquisite a simple dish of pasta can be, then hold your applause. But if your palate is less refined and you don't mind whopping portions, this is a good option.

My friends and I enjoyed a meal and drinks at this restaurant on Saturday evening. We booked this restaurant due to its central location, good tripadvisor reviews and discounted meal deal. Although the food and drinks choice was extensive, albeit expensive for what it was, the service needs significant improvement. For example, it was unclear throughout the meal who was... More

I arrived a little early on a very hot day and the Maître De and his colleague were outside. They welcomed me in a very friendly way and offered to look after my bag whilst I strolled around the neighbourhood. The meal was just a quick business lunch but the pasta (and other ingredients) was clearly fresh, my sausage and... More

Selected this place because we had the Lindon Pass restaurant guide. Only some entrees are part of London Pass discount, but a decent selection. Very authentic Italian in a residential neighborhood.

My girlfriend and I met up with some friends at Bellaria and enjoyed the good food and nice service of Bellaria. It was a Saturday night and the place was crowded but not full. We had reservations but I wouldn't say that they are required. Good wine list, nice menu and well prepared food. The service was attentive but not... More

Spent the weekend in London ... ate at Bellaria twice ... it was that great! You will enjoy authentic Italian specialties, delicious desserts and a fabulous wine & spirits list. My husband's favorite meal was the pork chop although he loved the pistachio-crusted salmon also. He said the tiramisu was the best he's ever eaten. He raved about the Grappa... More
