This is a great little place for cracking pizza ... We had an early evening meal here before heading into the West End to the theatre .... Great service and good value ...

Finally a really Italian APERITIVO. We had a very good Aperol Spritz. We were just walking around Greenwich and I found this lovely place. The restaurant is very cosy divided in two floors. We were sat on the second floor just by the windows facing the Cutty Sark. Paolo the manager was so attentive and friendly. We will be back... More

I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The staff is hmmmffff...not sure how to describe them. Not mediterranean enough for an Italian restaurant(?)...a bit cold maybe. However, Iwound eat again and again there....:)

I'm sure I caught them on an off day. BUT overall it was not a great experiance. We sat on the second floor and were seated quickly - it was down hill from there, it took ages for anyone to come and take the drinks order so I politely asked if we could order drinks. The same applied for food.... More

Spending a couple of days in Greenwich we were enticed into Bianco43 by it's menu and the authentic look of the inertia. It had a nice feel to it, you could have been in Naples or Milan. The food was excellent, I went for the home made lasagne and an assortment of breads all washed down with a bottle of... More

Popped here with a friend because it came up on Tastecard and we fancied Italian. The food was pretty good, no complaints there, the place was clean although had a few unsightly marks on the wall in need of attention. The food was fast but very expensive. £9-10 for a starter is a bit steep for what you get. The... More

My title says it all really. To me taste is everything and the food here is certainly tasty. It was a little more expensive than I would normally expect to pay for lunch. £70 for two mains and two deserts with a bottle of wine and including service charge. That said it would probably have been £50 in one of... More

After a tiring day with the kids "doing London", we were pleased to be on the relaxed atmosphere of Greenwhich - busy at it was on a sunny weekend. We'd spied Bianco as we passed whilst we wandered around and managed to get a table for dinner. No messing - we were straight into the pizzas with no starters. Just... More

Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
