Really, really good pizzas and pasta.

My title says it all really. To me taste is everything and the food here is certainly tasty. It was a little more expensive than I would normally expect to pay for lunch. £70 for two mains and two deserts with a bottle of wine and including service charge. That said it would probably have been £50... read more

After a tiring day with the kids "doing London", we were pleased to be on the relaxed atmosphere of Greenwhich - busy at it was on a sunny weekend. We'd spied Bianco as we passed whilst we wandered around and managed to get a table for dinner. No messing - we were straight into the pizzas with no starters. Just... More

Cramped and hot, tables too close together. Ordered a bottle of Prosecco which the waiter then proceeded to pour in to red wine glasses. When I asked for the correct glasses he went and got white wine glasses. Eventually we ended up with flutes. Deep fried goats cheese ordered as a starter, we cut them open and both were stone... Whilst dining at the restaurant I had no complaints, I actually loved the experience. I went with my work colleagues and decided to split the bill and pay by credit card. The next day, the waiter had sent me a Facebook friendship request. He had taken the liberty to get my name from my credit card and look it up.... More

This lovely little place was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. So glad we went ther it was so friendly. Although quite small it wasn't cramped. The service wasn't the fasted we've ever had but to be honest the food was worth the wait. We went in late afternoon and it was really busy. You could quite easily walk... More

Firstly, the waiting staff were excellent. They did the best they could with what they have to work with. The food was average at best...my pizza was burnt. The worst aspect of the experience was the restaurant's layout. The owners are prioritising profit above all else and it is blatantly obvious. The tables are so close together that I was... More

I've been here so many times in these months with my friends and it's always a pleasure. The restaurant is awesome, minimal and simple yet really really nice. As an Italian I can say this restaurant embodies the values of our culture. Speaking about the food, I can say I had the best pizza and the best desserts in London... More

Went on a Friday lunchtime. Tables rather crammed together, and being a rather hot day, the restaurant was not too cool. Order taken fairly rapidly, but then there was a delay of nearly 30 minutes as order had not gone through due to some IT issue. A basket of bread was offered complimentary. The starters of calamari and zucchine fritte,... More

Just got back home from Bianco43. We had 2 pizzas and nice bottle of red. Our pizzas were very fresh made and tasted good. Service was professional and prompt. Only minus was when my boyfriend paid the bill was that the waiter slammed the card on my side of the table without saying thank you or anything else. Over all... More

Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
