A nice lunch away from the crowds

We ate in the restaurant on Friday lunchtime. The restaurant was about a third full and the service was fine. Personally we quite like being left alone and not fussed over and the staff did this but the young lady that served us was still attentive and polite. The food was ok and the prices... read more

We had to wait for a free table at 2.30pm on a Sunday which suggested this was a popular restaurant. The staff were very friendly and service was good. The menu is varied and very good value. All of our dishes were of a high quality and very tasty, especially the torta mele calda (warm apple tart with ice cream).... More

We were here for a pre-theatre dinner, and this place seemed like a not-too-touristy place. The service was nice, and pretty quick. I had to wait longer on my pizza (buffalina) then my family members who both ate pasta (vongole and arrabiata). The pasta meals were good, but the bottom of my pizza was not baked properly, the dough was... More

We ate in the restaurant on Friday lunchtime. The restaurant was about a third full and the service was fine. Personally we quite like being left alone and not fussed over and the staff did this but the young lady that served us was still attentive and polite. Went on a Thursday evening so the place was very busy. No booking so had to wait 10 mins for a table. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. No spicy pizza option on the menu but when quizzing the waiter about this he gave us two separate options. I had a spicy meatball pizza which was very good. The... More

Ok pizza combined with bad service. I really didn't expect it to be like this and I'm disappointed, but maybe it's because of the area - they don't feel the need to try hard. We went for lunch on a Saturday. It's two floors - ground and basement. The basement accommodates larger reservations. Maybe half the tables were occupied when... More

Everything at Sartori is just excellent: food (pizza is amazing!), environment, service. It's one of my favourite restaurants in London and I tend to visit every month. You can notice that it's a great Italian restaurant when is full of Italian customers!

I dined here with several family members and it was overall quite nice. They accommodated my child well and the staff were very pleasant. The food however, was a bit of a let down. Although their pizza based foods were good, their pasta dishes were not so great. Their steaks were nice too but several members asked for medium/well and... More

Fairly touristic but altogether decent food. Some choices are properly Italian. Try the panuozzi which are very good. Service ok not great. Big big portions. So make sure you go ready to eat. Prices very fair considering it is in the city centre.
