Really good

Went for a lunch and had a really good meal. Lunch menu is around 10 gbp, that includes a starter and main. All tasted well, with exception of tiramisu, but the profiteroles were devine. All in all, would go back and try more specialties.

Been here several times over the past 2 years - food always good, authentic Italian - and have always had very good, attentive and friendly service. The pizza's look amazing. Always been busy when we've been there (usually mid early/mid afternoon).

Having walked out of a restaurant in Chinatown, we happened across Sartori. The welcome was good, the service and food were excellent. I have seen other reviews so will qualify that there were only ten or so other diners. We would definitely go back though.

The food was average, the service was ridiculously bad. Chose not pay the service charge as I felt we were blatantly ignored once our food arrived. Told the manager that he needed better staff, he replied with "maybe we need better customers". Appalled! DO NOT GO!

We went to Sartori's early evening before we went to the theatre. For starters we choose breaded smoked mozzarella with aubergines. This we absolutely delicious. We all had a pizza for our main meal. Everyone enjoyed them.. Could have been cooked a little bit longer, but they were still delicious. The wine was lovely and the children had alcohol free... More

We booked to go to Sartori before the theatre last night as I had read all the great reviews....sadly I think the poor reviews are more accurate. The restaurant was packed as you would expect on a Saturday night however I did not expect the slow and rude service. I had to ask for a drink about 3 times, as... More

This restaurant is well placed for theatres and shops around Charing Cross Road and St Martins Lane. I have lunched there several times and have enjoyed freshly cooked food which, as a vegetarian, is not always easy to come by. Service is friendly and attentive and the bill is well within reasonable limits for central London.

Food was typical average Italian fare, slightly better than the usual national chains. Cost was £25 per head for bottle wine between 4, starter mains and coffee. Poor Value for money. The menu includes a pre theatre menu of starter and mains with a very unexciting selection for £10.95, but there is a COMPULSORY 12.5% added on for service charge.... More

We were at this restaurant at Valantine's dinner, busy time, we sat downstairs. On food nothing to say, good portions and quality. We had potato gateau and a choice of salami as starter and two glasses of wine. We did ask for a portion of bread which never came. When first courses arrived the table had not been cleared from... great restaurant near the palace theatre with friendly and efficient staff. We sat downstairs so could see the pizzas being made. Great choice on menu and food was well presented. Tip portions are quite big so maybe give the starters a miss and save yourself for dessert.
