Good dimmsum

Very nice restaurant, airy, comfortable seats, clean bathrooms. Service was a bit slow initially then after we ordered it was fine. My husband speaks Cantonese which helps. We had dim sum, not the best I've ever had but very good none the less. You order off a menu instead of picking your choice... read more

Just had an excellent meal and tried the new spicy dumplings and the ever elegant pan fried dumplings. Both were superb, with delicate pastry and soft flavor packed fillings. Amongst the best dumplings I've had in London. Great friendly service too.

Had an impromtu dinner on a quiet Monday evening in the restaurant in the Grosvenor Hotel in Victoria and we chanced upon this wonderful restaurant. Initially the service was impeccable and the food absolutely divine especially the Scotch Beef Japanese Style and the King Prawn with Wasabi all washed down with a stunning Chablis. All in all a wonderful meal... More

We went there as a group of 6 due to a recommendation of a friend. The seats were comfortable and the environment was spectacular - very airy and you could converse with your friends easily. The food was only okay for the price you're getting - there are too little vegetables, they have de-boned all the roasted ducks which made... More

I was recommended this place by friends who told me it was possibly the best Chinese food they had every tasted, I was unable to disagree. We ordered a full selection for the middle of the table and shared it. I couldn't fault one dish. The service was very attentive. We had a small issue where we had ordered the... More

I am practicing making dim sum at home, and thought I was hot stuff. I ordered the dim sum to check out the competition. Well, I lost. Not only is the dim sum, at the Grand Imperial delicious, the presentation is spectacular. (Mine tastes almost as good, but I have a long ways to go on appearance.)

I have dined at this restaurant a few times this year, and had a very good meal. This time is sadly not the case. My husband and I came here for dinner on Sunday. The atmosphere was good (a third of the tables were occupied), service was attentive and friendly. I normally order a minced meat soup which have now... More

Attached to The Grosvenor hotel by Victoria this restaurant serves quite possibly the best tasting Chinese food I've tasted. We chose the set menu (choice of 3, we went for the £40 per head) and can recommend all the dishes, particularly the beef and prawn dishes. Impeccable service and pleasant surroundings, well worth a visit.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
