My wife and I stayed at the Grosvenor Hotel which is also part of this restaurant. As a result we booked the meal prior to arriving at the Hotel for 7pm. There were not many people there on Sunday night. We were escorted to the table and had one of the meals for 2. Started with Dim Sums, then crispy... More

I chose this restaurant for my father's 80th birthday having googled '10 best Chinese restaurants in London.' Right from the first phone call to the service we received on the day, everything was top notch. There were several e mails going back and forth to sort out dietary requirements ( we had a veggie and nut/fish allergy in our party)... More

The alternative to a eggs Benedict Sunday brunch should definitely be the dim sum at this place. The food is so authentic and you can taste the freshness in the preparation of the dim sum . (None of the frozen Royal China stuff). The turnip cake and try Char siu bao is a must ! The main course on the... More

Dear Tony11996, Thank you for writing us a review. It's Chinese Culture for family to meet up for Dim Sum in the weekend - similar to Western Sunday Brunch culture. I am happy to know that you enjoy our Dim Sum and appreciate its freshness and quality. I will pass your kind words to our Dim Sum chefs. While the... More

Excellent service with a full and well priced menu. The meal was first class and both myself and my friend thoroughly enjoyed the occasion at this resturant, it was the first time I had visited this resturant but certainly not the last.

Food to die for! We chose to have the set menu and they even agreed to replace one of the items on offer with another item as one of our guests wanted something else. The service was great and the staff very friendly.

I was in two minds about reviewing this little oasis within the hustle and bustle of Victoria Station. It is our little hide away and a well kept secret. In one corner of the Grosvenor Hotel next to the Grand Imperial Chinese restaurant there is a luxurious bar. The service is old school and impeccable. I ordered a Flaming Sunrise... More

Just had an excellent meal and tried the new spicy dumplings and the ever elegant pan fried dumplings. Both were superb, with delicate pastry and soft flavor packed fillings. Amongst the best dumplings I've had in London. Great friendly service too.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
