Delicious pre-theatre dinner

Visited here for an early dinner before Wicked and was really impressed by the restaurant - the food, service and dining room were all brilliant. We started with some cocktails, Dimsum Platter starter followed by the Grand Imperial Crispy Fried Noodle with Seafood and Aubergine and Minced Pork with... read more

I have dined at this restaurant a few times this year, and had a very good meal. This time is sadly not the case. My husband and I came here for dinner on Sunday. The atmosphere was good (a third of the tables were occupied), service was attentive and friendly. I normally order a minced meat soup which have now... More

Attached to The Grosvenor hotel by Victoria this restaurant serves quite possibly the best tasting Chinese food I've tasted. We chose the set menu (choice of 3, we went for the £40 per head) and can recommend all the dishes, particularly the beef and prawn dishes. Impeccable service and pleasant surroundings, well worth a visit.

1st night staying at the Grovesnor so decided to dine here. Was unsure what to expect but my wife and I both had beef meals. Very well cooked meals, meat was melt in the mouth, some of the best I have tasted and generous portion size. Wine list was fairly expensive but had alot of options.

We were staying at the Grosvenor Hotel, so decided to use the hotel restaurant for a meal. The Grand positions itself as a fine dining Chinese restaurant. The food is certainly tasty; the staff are friendly and effective, but what we had was really just good basic Chinese food. Nothing wrong with that as such, but did expect something a... More

Been for lunch and business lunches. Malaysian owned, Cantonese food. Competent dishes. Good range of food. Prices are reasonable but used to be cheaper. Still not expensive for quality and ambience.

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
