We had a delicious afternoon tea at the Grand Imperial which seems to be part of the Grosvenor Hotel and is located right next to Victoria Station. It's a Chinese restaurant and we had a high tea consisting of wonderful dumplings: steamed prawn wontons, perfectly fried spring rolls, vegetable wontons, a fabulous duck salad, deep fried prawn wontons and two... Not knowing the Victoria area very well I did my usual scout of the area. And as usual I ended up eating in the first restaurant I looked at. Now I'm a big Chinese fan, coming from Liverpool which I believe has the oldest Chinese community in Europe, I am spoilt for choice for Classical Chinese food. Also, when in... More

It's situated within a hotel next to Victoria Station in a grand building. The food is as authentic as those we find in London China town in a beautiful and airy room with high ceiling. Service is good. This is the place if you want a romantic Chinese dinner. Will try out the dim sum one day.

Wow what can we say. The food was the best Chinese/Asian food that we have ever had. The price was reasonable. The restaurant was just beautifully decorated. Everything was perfect. The waiters were very polite and helpful in the selection process. We wanted a romantic dinner and we wanted to take our time in enjoy thisbtime together. They understood our... More

I chose this restaurant as it was close to the theatre where my husband and myself were going to after our meal. I read most of the reviews on Trip Advisor and came to the conclusion that I would give it a try. I'm glad I did eat here, the room was an amazing size and very grand, not like... More

Chose to eat here for a late dinner after an incoming train journey to Victoria. Decided to override usual concerns about too few customers etc. Quite a grand room in an old fashioned, grand railway hotel. But the room was not stuffy and it was quite comfortable, though there were too few diners to make much of an atmosphere. We... More

For a Chinese who stays in UK for five years, it's bad for me that I could not find many true Chinese restaurants even in Chinatown. Because they normally modified the traditional ingredients to fit the western style. This could be awful because the essence of Chinese food has been accumulate by thousands years with our long history and culture.... More

THE CHICKEN CURRY AND RICE IS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS ! good value at £12 for the curry and £2 for the rice. Pot of jasmine tea was really good also. Waiter kept refilling it at no extra charge.

Came here as part of a hen party and had a fab time. Great selection of dim sum accompanied by beautiful tea or champagne. Will definitely go back again.
