I was introduced to this restaurant by a business acquaintance previously and as my husband and I were staying in Bloomsbury for the weekend recently we took a stroll up to Romance, near Euston station. The chilli prawns starter and crab spaghetti mains are the best I think I have ever had. This is an unusual location for such a... More

A modest decor, limited menu but a warm welcome and great value lunches. 2 courses for £8.95 ! When they have it, their Sea Bass inc vegetables, at £12.95 is exceptional. V handy when you are in the area.

had two meals at this hotel last week. The lamb cutlets are excellent and my colleagues tried the sea bass, prawn caesar sale and the steak. All in all two great meals with cold lagers and a reasonably priced merlot from chile.

I was on a tight schedule. The rugby match was over and I had a non-changeable train ticket. 90 minutes to spare between Kings Cross and Euston (easy walking distance from either), and I found this on TripAdvisor. The carte was adequate, not too numerous, but what one would expect from a restaurant tucked away in a side street. My... More

2nd visit as don't come down much but this place is as good as ever. Everything was excellent and we had the following; Grilled squid and yoghurt and audbergine and Pitta followed by Seabass and tiger prawns then chocolate cake. Service was excellent. We love it here so please try it!

Scallop starter was faultless and the main of T bone steak was tender and tasty. Restaurant was very quiet for 7pm Saturday. One of our party had lobster linguine..the pasta was nice but the lobster too tough to eat which we mentioned to the front of house staff when they cleared the plates..would have been nice if they had volunteered... I visited this restaurant a couple of weeks ago for the first time and was highly impressed from start to finish. The food was delicious with great sized portions and well priced too. The staff were friendly and we had a wonderful evening. I look forward to visiting again.

I went to the restaurant recently, and it was a very good experience. The food is absolutely amazing, the staff is very kind and friendly, and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. I would like to highly recommend this gem, which is only a 5 minute walk from Kings Cross Underground Station. You wont regret it :)

Knowing I was going to be working in London for 5 weeks, I wanted to find a few nice restaurants to eat at so that I didn’t end up going to the same place every night. The first place a tried (Romance) was the best of the lot and I returned several times on the space of the month. Romance... More

Stations are rarely known for offering great grub so next time you've got time an hunger to kill near Euston try this place in Chalton Street. Cheerful, swift service and good, honest Mediterranean style food. But don't plan on kissing any hot dates hello or goodbye on the station platform. My hummus had enough garlic to slay a castle full... More
