Amazing Mexican Food

Food here is next to none. Amazing authentic Mexican food with plenty of flavour and choice. Everything here is fresh and some of the dishes are prepared in front of you. Service was a bit slow at times but it was busy. Would definitely visit Lupita again! It's in a great location.

We called in advance to make a table reservation.. It was refused . We were told we will be accommodated if we just come down. Drove over an hour to be told we had to wait 45 minutes for a table ! What a joke !!! Disgusting customer service. .They are more interested in making money from larger bookings then... More

The good points are the lively ambiance, the friendly service and the reasonable price - although £4 for a small bottle of Sol is a bit steep when you need at least two of them. The not so good points are the time it took for the food to come and the food itself...which in all fairness looked fine on... More

If your waiter or chef makes the food in front of your table, you can guarantee it will be fresh and to your taste - the avocado, chilli, onion, garlic and whatever else mixed in his bowl and onto our fajitas was out of this world! The service was fast and friendly ; I hope you all have a similar... More

We've eaten at Lupita twice on our trips in and out of London. Both times the food has been excellent. It's a down to earth restaurant where you are issued with a device to call staff to take your order and for the bill - which is a bit different however it works well. The menu is varied and claims... This is some of the best Mexican food I have ever eaten, and I've visited Mexico. We ordered chicken Enchiladas, Panuchos de Cochinita Pibil and Sinaloense, which was particularly delicious. Classic Tequila Margarita was one of the best I've had. Would return tonight but for the 218 mile journey.

The food was ok, but we ordered soup and a burrito and they arrived at the same time. The service was poor and the toilets dirty. We wouldn't come again.

I came several times to this restaurant and our last experience was disappointing. The food is good but given how busy the restaurant was, the service was really bad organised. We had to wait a lot for our food to come and they even told us to hold off with our orders as the kitchen could not manage all orders... More

I don't think this place works to keep customers coming back. Food quality and taste isn't great and the service is pretty bad.

Have been here a few times, the food is decent. I was here with a Mexican recently who rated the food quite highly , more so than I would have done. However for me the setting is really poor. There is no atmosphere, quite soulless , when you got downstairs even more so! The toilets are in a tired and... More

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
