Visited this restaurant by chance as we were just passing, myself and 3 girlfriends. They were not particularly busy but took a fair time to ask for our drinks order, we ordered the wine and then my friend started to order her meal but the waiter walked off to get the wine. We all ordered various tacos which, once you... More

I've been to Lupita many a time over the last few years. Originally I loved the restaurant as the food was good as was the service, however on my most recent visits the service has left a lot to be desired. The food has been good as always but the service slow and the staff seemed to just flit in... More

Great food, fiery salsas, and sneaky margaritas. Visiting from the American southwest I have to admit I am always a little hesitant towards "authentic" Mexican food while traveling... But this was fantastic. I've been here multiple times on this trip and plan to come back before I leave. Others seem to complain about the service but I've had no problem... More

This is the best Mexican food I have tried in London. They have plenty of choice for vegetarians too. My husband was in heaven with the Tortilla Soup. I had the tacos al pastor and I felt I was in Mexico City. My only complain was that the salsa comes in tiny little containers. I had to order a few... More

Visited for a quick pre theatre meal with a friend who's first visit it was to Lupita. Aside from the (major) service fault (order was forgotten) the food was very average and very overpriced. Only good thing was the beers were cold. It's a real shame as I've liked it in the past but the current service and below par... More

My wife and I love spicy food, and after our recent trip to Paris, our taste buds were craving something hot and spicy. Lupita satisfied that craving and we left happy with our stomachs full but our little heart wanting more! The portions were a little tiny, so we ended up getting 3 entries for the two of us. I... I visited here with four other friends for dinner on a Sunday evening. We're all Londoners and knew that this was a bit of a tourist hot spot, but tried it anyway. We'd made a reservation for our party that the restaurant had no record of. Fortunately there were tables available (just) and we were able to be seated. Serving... More

Food is good at Lupita. Closer to authentic street food as you will get in the UK. They seem to be slowly increasing prices, but overall not too bad.

If it wasn't my second visit and if the food wasn't so good, the waiter would have earned this review two stars. Slow, poor service. Rude waiter who laughed off some celebratory news with "Nice joke". Forgotten orders. I could go on. Because I've had good service in the past and because the food is tasty, I'll leave it at... More

We left this restaurant needing to go and grab another snack because we were still hungry after. We both had tacos, which were the size of my palm. Essentially a tapas sized portion of tacos. I had a side salad for £4.95 which was a small handful of lettuce on a side plate. Everything was so overly expensive for what... More
