The general atmosphere of the place is nice, however, the food and service is so poor. The prices don't seem bad on the face of it e.g. £7 for tacos and about the same for quesadillas but you realistically need two of these to actually count as a decent meal and fill you up. Furthermore, this is one of a... More

Came here on a Saturday night and got a table straight away. It took a while before we got our order taken for drinks/food but apart from that there was no fault. The margaritas are a must! We had the guacolmolita to start, a mix of prawn/chicken tacos and a burrito and pork tortilla. All were great. Much better than... More

We went to Lupita because of the reviews it had received but were really disappointed. The food was dry and lukewarm and, despite several prompts, our side dishes didn't come until after we had given up trying to eat the main. It was clear that they had forgotten the side dishes but, instead of acknowledging this, the staff simply kept... More

Food was great. Service was really good considering how busy it was - and the atmosphere was great starting around 8pm.

We were excited to see a well-reviewed Mexican restaurant in London, and the food lived up to the billing. The carnitas was very, very good. The restaurant was quite busy, but we were able to take a table for two next to the door without a wait. Accommodating host, good waitress. Very glad we found Lupita!

Nice Little Mexican Restaurant- very busy. The food was good and they knew what gluten free meant (most of London doesn't seem to know). Had a great lunch here- staff is friendly and the place is clean.

I really cannot understand the high ratings for this restaurant. Always wanted to try it and last friday we had the chance to. We were both really dissapointed though. The food was ok, flavor was good but the meat felt really dry. And everything seemed very overpriced compared to other central london authentic mexican places. Will definitely not visit again.

Popped in for a light bite and were greeted by friendly staff, delicious food and a good atmosphere. The dishes were fresh, tasty and authentic. The flavours were delicious and unlike any other Mexican food I have had from some of the well known chains. Prices were fine for both the food and drink. Would recommend this restaurant for a... As a former California resident who grew up on Mexican food, I'm always excited to try Mexican places here in London. From the get go, the experience was frustrating as there was a clear queue of people waiting, which we joined. Then people started going through the queue to put their names down and the gentleman seating people just went... More

Enjoyed my first 'authentic' Mexican meal in the UK here. No tex mex in sight, much to my delight! Slightly on the pricey side, however Central London & authenticity value, very much worth the money. Topotos Classico were delicious, as were the tostadas. The stand out dish for us were the Conchinita Pibil Tacos. Gorgeous! The pitcher Passion Fruit Margaritas... More
