Always on the lookout for good Mexican food, Lupita is darn good.Don't expect run of the mill Tex Mex here a more genuine slant on Mexican food. Very busy place on a Saturday evening, if you have to wait, it will be well worth it. The staff are friendly and prompt, no complaint there. If there is a criticism, it... More

Food was good but a little overpriced for the amount served (even though it doesn't differ much from other mexican restaurants).

Stumbled on this place while walking out of the Embankment tube station. Being rather fond of burritos I decided to try it and I am so glad I did. It was excellent. So good that I went back the following day. On that occasion I had one of their specials and it was one of the best Mexican dishes I've... More

Went with friends who'd been before and we weren't disappointed. Great, fresh, tasty food and very cheerful service.... Will definitely go again. Didn't find it expensive at all!

If you get of the tube at the Embankment stop, you're bound to discover this busy, friendly place with authentic Mexico City fare. Yes the portions are on the small side, but the food is really, really good- pretty well every dish we've tried had been a winner (the tacos are a revelation!) We thrilled our waiter on a recent... I popped in to Lupita with my friend for a casual dinner. the restaurant was very busy, so we had to seat on the stools, next to open kitchen, so we got the chance to watch chefs preparing our food. we were served very quick by fantastic waiter called Damian. he was very nice, polite, and explained us all the... It is a nightmare trying to find authentic Mexican food in London, and I had high hopes for Lupita, especially considering how popular it is. However, it was a bit of a charade really, and an expensive one at that. Being charged £10 for guacamole that is 'made at the table' is highway robbery - especially when the guacamole wasn't... More

We had great expectations when we travelled into town to eat here. We are real foodies and love Mexican. We were very surprised to find chilli mayonnaise squirted over nearly every dish that was way too hot as it cancelled out any other taste. It felt like a Mexican fast food having eaten all over Mexico. The restaurant itself does... More

Visited this restaurant by chance as we were just passing, myself and 3 girlfriends. They were not particularly busy but took a fair time to ask for our drinks order, we ordered the wine and then my friend started to order her meal but the waiter walked off to get the wine. We all ordered various tacos which, once you... More

I've been to Lupita many a time over the last few years. Originally I loved the restaurant as the food was good as was the service, however on my most recent visits the service has left a lot to be desired. The food has been good as always but the service slow and the staff seemed to just flit in... More
