Visited Masala Zone today with my daughter, it was her first visit, I last visited 8+ years ago. Service was fine, we were seated quickly, waitress took our drinks order straight away. Food was ordered and took around 15 mins to arrive. Daughter ordered the regular thali, which consisted of Prawn curry,rice,dhal,2x vegetables, chutney etc, I had Lamb Rogan josh... More

Went back to Masala Zone after a while for a late lunch post shopping session. Tired and hungry as I was, I was expecting to enjoy whatever was served, especially since my past experience has been good. Ended up ordering just the starters (bhel, sev puri and bun samosa). The chat was a bit on the sour side with the... More

Lots of selection, very flavorful food, easy to find something for the kids to eat. Protein portions are not very generous but this is rather common in Indian restaurants. The thali plates are a fun way to order a complete meal if you are hungry. On a June weeknight around 6 pm, we had no problems walking in and getting... More

Dined at this restaurant on Sat 21st June 2014; was such a nice restaurant!! Friendly staff, immediately seated. Food was unbelievable!!! Definitely recommend the Bhel, Mixed Grill and of course, the Thali. Very reasonably priced too.

The taste achieved is the same if not better than the top end London Indian restaurants. The three sets of vegetables that come with a thali are simply delicious. A welcome step in the right direction away from the standard Indian restaurant that you find in England. Go try it, and order a paneer dish.

Had lunch at the masala zone in SOHO. Service was good and the waiters were helpful in explaining the menu. Food arrived promptly. Absolutely delicious Indian food at decent price in London. Will visit again.

I cannot comment on the quality of the food as I did not get to try it, even though the dishes looked really nice on other diners plates. I unfortunately have several food allergies but I have never had any problem in the Indian restaurants I have been to so far. Although the manager tried to be helpful and was... More

Very modern decor and vibe keeps the place away from the usual "Indian" motiffs - apart from a beautiful flower-filled water basin at the entrance. Bathrooms are not that clean, but the food is great and the lunch specials really give you a nice taste of India for a really decent price - the wine list is also very reliable.

Different to your standard indian fayre and consistently reasonable quality. Service is fast, friendly and efficient without feeling rushed. Pricing is reasonable and won't hurt.
