The service can be a bit slow but on the whole, judging from our several visits, Geales is well run and should not disappoint if you are looking for a straight-forward meal. The battered cod, chips and mushy peas are an English seaside classic and the starters - notably the herring - are fine. Geales is on the corner of... More

Pleased to see there was room to eat in this restaurant, as only 2 tables were taken. One solitary dinner and a table of 8 including children. There was only one waitress. We had to wait 3/4 hour for our starters - my crab salad (recommended by the waitress) had bits of shell and tasted of mayonnaise not much crab.... More

Went with a few colleagues and so glad we did! Everything was fantastic, shared a bunch of appetizers, the seafood platter was my favorite. Most had fish and chips but I went with the lobster tail burger and was very happy with my choice. A few bottles of great wine later we ended with the sticky toffee. A great meal... More

Visited here a couple of weeks ago with my family, we were the first in the restaurant but it quickly filled up. The location and the decor is nice as well as the menu being great. We ordered oysters to start with which were great, for mains we opted for a variety of food... Which even though we were first... More

Incredible scampi, delicious !! Little hidden gem in Chelsea. Very helpful waitress and a genuinely delightful manager who couldn't do enough for us. Will be paying another visit very soon.

I ate here after a recommendation specifically to try the lobster roll. Turns out no lobster left which is not the end of the world, so I ordered the sea bass instead which was average and is served with nothing but a lemon wedge on a cold plate. I ordered chips as a side, I could count on less than... More

We have been to Geales several times before and have always been impressed but not this time . When i called to book a girl answered who could barely speak English and thought i was asking for someone called Geales ( I think ) . I then called the Notting Hill branch to make sure i had the right number... More

Very average evening all round. Restaurant only had two other tables occupied, says something for a Friday night! Prawn starter only had 5 (small) prawns, but lots of lettuce. Plaice was poor, stuck to the pan and reminiscent of a hacked to pieces cheap bit of fish. Service was poor and no manager on duty. As a local it was... More

A very nice and friendly place and not too expensive. It's a neighborhood restaurant where local people come regularly. The food is good. They serve oysters and many kind of fish.
