Good food, fantastic atmosphere and friendly service

As one of our local gastropubs, we come here relatively regularly. The Sunday roasts are huge with massive Yorkshire puds too. I'm not a vegetarian but their vegetarian dishes are always very inventive and tasty. One of my favourites is the tempura cauliflower dish. The only time I've been... read more

A could December evening on the banks of the Thames in Wandsworth 6 friends met for dinner at The Swan. I had never been here before and from the location, next to a cement yard, I was a little dubious but what a surprise. The food was fantastic, as good to look at as it was to eat, I had... More

Midweek meet up for a pint and burger. Nice cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. There was a good selection of beers on tap, and the bar menu was just about right.

Great location and very friendly staff. We were shown to our table and almost immediately were offered an amuse bouche which was delicious. This set the standard for the rest of the evening. I would definitely recommend the pork belly, it was absolutely mouth watering. Washed it down with a very nice bottle of malbec.

Had lunch in the conservatory on a cold wet Wednesday in Nov. which in spite of very few customers was really pretty good. Good old pub favourites that were a bit slow to arrive but were clearly cooked to order & so arrived piping hot. A gastro pub with high gastro prices but better quality food than other nearby Fulham/Wandswoth... More

We ate at this old thames pub recently and had an excellent meal in a great atmosphere. The service was efficiency and friendly and the food was fresh and tasty particular the old spot pork belly washed down with a well kept pint of London stout.A must visit if you are in the area.

Lovely tasty lunch on the decking by the river in warm November sun(?!) £12 for burgers fro the outside food service, decent wine under £20. A lot for lunch, but this is London.

For a real British pub Christmas lunch there was nothing left out. Fun crowd, friendly staff and warm inviting atmosphere. Very nice place to have Christmas lunch when away from home.

It was a lovely Fall evening on the river's edge. The deck was packed with patrons and the atmosphere was quite lively. My Pimms with lemonade was quite tasty, but very disappointed with my hamburger! When asked how I wanted my burger cooked, I requested medium and was immediately advised that medium rare was recommended. However, I asked to have... More

The Ship is on our doortsep! We live in Wandsworth and I CANNOT BELIEVE that we only had dinner there for the first time only a few days ago...I feel like I have missed out big time! The pub is nothing special, but as soon as you step into the restaurant the atmosphere changes and it's more sophisticated. The service... More
