Best prezzo I've visited

Called in with friends as it was pouring with rain. My experience of other prezzos hasn't been great but this one was very good. The food & service was good even though it was a busy Saturday lunchtime.

We ate at prezzo before the theatre last Friday. The restaurant was fairly busy and as a result the service was relaxed, luckily we had allowed plenty of time. We had antipasti to start, this was ok. Followed by spaghetti and meatballs for me (which was fine) and pulled pork pizza for the other half (which was a bit to... More

We wanted to go elsewhere but they were full and it was raining really hard. This place was just 30 seconds from our hotel so we made a dash for it. They were very busy and we had to queue in the doorway but front of house was very polite and apologetic and kept us informed about where he intended... More

Great end to a long day, there is obviously a large turnover of staff , but the management were very professional when training the staff not to embarrass anyone, I'm afraid it's a fact of life that we all have to learn a new job!!!!! The food was great , hot and the STAFF were nice and friendly!

Was not expecting Prezzo to be an authentic Italian but was impressed by the taste of the food and thoroughly enjoyed the night. Service was slightly disappointing due to the waiter that was serving us as it seemed that he did not really care about our experience. Overall it was a great meal.

Have previously had good experiences at this Prezzo. They have been accommodating with dietary requirements and alterations to their menus but this time they weren't. My pizza tasted old and the salad was sad and wilting. The waitress also spilled some of my drink all over the table and didn't offer to replace it. Will probably try an alternative Prezzo... More

Food was actually quite good—once it arrived. The service staff did not appear at all interested in our party and many items were forgotten.

We came in here for a late lunch after watching a friend complete the Marathon. As expected, it was busy but we were seated fairly quickly. We ordered drinks and food, and our starters arrived very promptly. Unfortunately, our main course still hadn't arrived after waiting for half an hour and nobody had approached us with any sort of explanation,... More

At 5.45 Prezzo in St Martin's Lane was packed with pre-theatre diners. A little noisy upstairs as a result. We had the duck from the specials list. It was delicious. Maybe a little too well cooked for those who like their duck pink, but just right for us. Nice butternut squash and mushroom mix, and herby mashed potatoes. Perfect. All... More

Food was mediocre, but poorly presented. Limp salad with starter, cold vegetables with main. Staff uninterested e.g. guy with credit card machine stopped for a chat with friends on his way to us. OK for a quick pit stop, but don't expect much in the way of food or service. Pity, as it has a great location, with views down... More
