Rush to get us out

We were booked for a Tuesday night and had a taste card. When we arrived it wasn't busy at all but they were in such a rush to get us to order. Service was slow, the food was bland and they brought us the wrong thing and got annoyed when we asked for the right thing. They don't seem to... read more

Was in two minds about going here after reading the negative reviews but thought every restaurant deserves a chance, wrong. Should have gone else where, the restaurant is charging Michelin star prices for pathetic indian food. Targeted to tourists and the prices are no where near worth paying for the quality and taste of food. Paneer Tikka came out cold,... More

Had dinner here with family of four and the food was delicious. The service was very good also. The portions of chichen tikka masala, okra, rice, naan were fine for the four of us. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to a visitor. I did not feel rushed and enjoyed the experience. The interior of the restaurant was very appealing... More

We live around the corner so finally tried it, service was terrible we only had a starter which was enough for me not to order a main it was bland and way overpriced, for a mixed grill of £13 we has not nearly enough to share! The waiter actually got annoyed when we opted out of a main ( after... More

Service was slow and there were twice as many staff as customers, they all seemed to linger around us rather than actually want to take our order. Starters were okay. But the mains arrived and both out mains were swimming in oil. The sag aloo was 3 potatoes with some kind of paste tasting nothing like spinach. After trying the... More

Restaurant is smart but the service was really bad for the prices. Very pushy and rushed through the meal even though place was empty on a saturday night (which was strange)! Will not be going back so many better indians in South london.

We had a great evening here. The staff were very friendly and the food tasty, with some different specialities. Definitely worth a visit. Look out for the chicken chat!

Was extremely disappointed by this place. I'm not sure how it stays in business as by rights nobody would go. Or at least nobody who knows a good curry. The vegetables are chewy and stringy and obviously out of a tin. The sauces are bland and dull. You might get away with it in a theme pub or something but... More

This was the most expensive and bland curry I have ever had. The bill for 4 people came to over £110 despite only 1 of us having any alcohol (1 beer). The pushy, miserable waiting staff then had the audacity to add a mandatory 10% service charge to the already hugely overpriced bill. Do not waste your time or money... More

I only went here as I have a taste card and get 50% off the food bill. It's very average, not great but not poor either. Try Indian Moment on Northcote Road just 5 mins walk.
