I liked it but...

Can easy see how others may not.we arrived for an early dinner just before 6:30, the staff were focused on setting up and we felt as if we had intruded. Thankfully this didn't last long although the drinks take an age to arrive. The food was delicious, the sushi, seaweed salad, tempura...all good... read more

I am a returning customer and this place is above the average of other (good) London sushi in the 30-60£ budget for one meal entirely based on raw fish. I think the mackerel and salmon are the best I tried in Europe for now, or very close to it. I really give them the money happy for what I eat... More

I expected something more! Sushi wasn't that bad but the restaurant lacks the elegance you usually associate to a Japanese joint. Service is quick and friendly.

Very fresh sashimi atop my Chirashi-don, with a potato croquette and tamagotchi slices as added bonuses. Service was relatively quick. Disappointed with the soba cha, smelt like buckwheat but just tasted of hot water!

After making A booking for a Friday night earlier in the week stating I had an allergy to nuts I was very unpleasantly surprised to find that they were most unhelpful. They mentioned some foods are not freshly prepared in the restaurant and are brought in externally and also they cannot guarantee that the chef would not touch nuts and... More

This cute sushi and Japanese place is int he middle of Charlotte Street, which is a great area to eat that is convenient but not filled with tourists. It claims to have Korean flavor, but we didn't see it. The sushi and other Japanese dishes were tasty. It is a little odd to go to a sushi restaurant without a... More

We visited by chance on a busy Friday night, so lucky to get a table. Atmosphere was pleasant with low lighting which I sometimes question! To avoid scrutinising the food perhaps ? The food in general was a disappointment and left us feeling hungry at the end. Something we've never experienced in any Japanese restaurant before. The individual sushi nigiri... More

Nice (or lucky perhaps) that we were able to walk into a restaurant and get a table without having to queue at 730pm on a friday night. Tables were too close to each other, felt a bit weird listening in on other conversations. Two of our starters werent' served hot as they were meant to be - eating cold tempura... More
