This is a fish bar, not a restaurant as there is a good fresh fish menu which can be enjoyed as part of a meze. The staff are great and work across the 3 restaurants in Milan, Naples and London keeping the service and food consistent and authentically Italian. Staff are friendly and laid back but... read more

Typical Italian restaurateurs who still think they can rip people off. Went there with few other people and was not my choice...but some £80 a head for some "tuna" (8 of us) and a couple of bottles of wine I reckon is not fair. Neat of all? The receipt... A piece of paper with some handwriting on it...no proper till... More

This small little place has very tasty fish tapas, and it looks right from Naples. The idea is new and probably some people don't get the "fish bar" - but you should walk in and try. Food is fresh and service nice.

Trust me. Do not go in here. Wine. £7.50 for the smallest glass of red wine I've ever been served in a restaurant. Bar nibble (gratis) old, brown, cold, vinegary beans...sorry what? Bread (stale) Pink Prawns £5 - frozen iceland prawns in the shell that you could balance on your little finger nail...8 of them? There is literally no point... More

Positively different kind of place from the most. This rustic restaurant only has about twenty seats by the counter and the daily menu is on the black board on the wall. Very basic dishes prepared in no nonsense style but when the ingredients are this good it really works. Maybe the best value for money tuna I have ever seen... More

My husband and I had an amazing time having dinner here. The atmosphere was the right amount of romantic, rustic and welcoming. The staff were super friendly and the quality of the sea-food was great. I have been recommending it to anyone and everyone!

Fish was very fresh and creatively prepared; interior design was quirky; restroom was clean and comfortable. That’s about all that can be said, because the portions are way too small for the prices charged and the service (which comes with a 12.5% tariff) is a tad cold. We should have taken the emptiness of the dining room as a warning... More

Tiny, cool and shabby chic seafoody café restaurant just off iconic Portobello. Popped in for brunch, when everywhere nearby was crowded full, to discover the best coffee (Brazilian gourmet via roaster in Naples) in the area and a cute brunch menu. Loved their salmon pastrami (herby marinade before cooking) on multiseed brown bread, with a little spicy yogurt and tomatoes... More

I first went here when it opened and I found it to be quirky and off the wall for the UK. I brought my US collegue and they were left impressed. Since that visit I always wanted to return and this trendy small restaurant has since suffered in most part due to it's prices and lack of fresh fish lovers... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
