Great Venue

Another joint in Brick Lane that serves the real deal. Food is awesome. Drinks are not cheap. Albeit a good eatery.

Lovely food and pleasant staff but ask if their credit card machine is working before you go in. No iou's. You have to go out to the cash point. They should be thankful it wasn't raining.

I'd be longing to try one of the Brick Lane curry houses for quite some time so arranged to go to Cinnamon with five friends as part of a London weekend. We were not disappointed. Great atmosphere in the restaurant, albeit a little bit too noisy for conversation at times. The food was excellent, with the beetroot pickle, duck in... More

Nice curry house on Brick lane. Really good food and service. Nice atmosphere, although the downstairs area looked cramped.

I came here with a group of 14 work colleagues for a Christmas lunch, the booking went very smoothly with the deposit paid and we arrived on time with the tables set out in a long row as expected. We order the mixed starter which were hot and tasty. The main courses with sundries then followed which were of average... More

The staff were rude and unattentive, argued with me when I pointed out that our food had taken over an hour before arriving with the excuse that 'I have a whole restaurant here wanting food!' (The entire point of owning a restaurant??) and forgot items off the order. One forgotten item was a beer I ordered which I went to... More

We went here on Saturday as part of a Christmas meet with work friends and I was happy with what was served here. Food was lovely. Waiters polite and courteous. Place was clean and friendly. Would return to eat here again without a doubt..

Having been on Brick Lane for delicious curries before, I thought we'd try somewhere new. Did a bit of research, and Cinnamon came up as one of the best. Man, I regret that. The food was nothing short of disgusting. The saag paneer was yellow and sickly sweet with a terrible taste. The service was terrible and rude. Genuinely, there... More

I went into this restaurant because it had a banner with the Tripadvisor logo, that it was voted a top restaurant. I was very disappointed in that the cuisine was just average, Service was good though, friendly and fast. But the lamb biryani did not meet my high expectations. It was just average. The Bhuna Gosht was too spicy in... More

The food was great and I have to admit I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews on this website. Anyway, my partner and I ignored them and went for a meal Friday night. It was fantastic, we both had great curries. The waiters were very efficient and that's all we really wanted in a very busy... More

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighborhood Profile
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
