Brick Lane has changed a bit over the last 5 years but even so a good curry on Brick Lane has always been difficult to find - many restaurants are pretty cynical in serving up average generic 'Indian' food in small portions and turning over customers as quickly as possible. Cinnamon is different. By the standards of Brick Lane their... More

We had a light lunch for two - two chicken dishes, one naan, a glass of water and a coke. The food was good. Service was also good, but there were only 4 covers in the place. The bill included a 10% service charge and came to £24, which is not outrageous but suggests that they are not competing on... More

My brother and I went for a curry off the cuff and went for this restaurant. Really enjoyed the food and drinks here. The service was quick and there were good set food options.

We had a great indian meal here and one of the best on Brick Lane. Very friendly staff, especially Joe who really took care of us.Also, good value and they do not have an augry man outside trying to get you inside - like a lot of other places on the Lane.

There are a lot of Indian Restaurants along this stretch of Brick Lane. Outside each of them has someone trying to entice you into theirs. Some of these people were persistent to the point of being rude and even aggressive. One of the reasons we chose this restaurant was that there chap was polite and courteous. We also chose because... Unfortunately I found the very small portions of curry flavourless and full of tomato chunks rather than meat. Of the meat I did find it was very tough. I have been to three other restaurants on brick lane and they were waaaaaay better.

We were convinced by one of the guys outside promising us free drinks during dinner and a set menu for 12 pounds each. Even after confirming with him that every drink will be free we received a bill of around 25 each person in which were include 13 pound for drinks. As we told the guy outside before entering and...
