Pleasantly surprised with this little find. The food was really good and there was something for everyone. The place is clean and well decorated with a nice atmosphere. Went to celebrate a friends birthday and they set up the table with a few decorations. The only little niggle we had was that we had to ask for cutlery several times;... More

I visit Cocochan quite often and enjoy the food (the sushi and beef teriyaki are both so good)! The ambience could be better and isn't as lively as other restaurants in the area. It is also very expensive.

We went there for a spontaneous bite to eat over lunch time. It looked a bit empty and we weren't sure what to expect apart from high prices since it is in central London. We asked for the waiter to recommend something because we'd made some choices and weren't sure what else to get. He recommended yellow fish? maki and... More

A friend and myself drove down to London for a night for some shopping and done some research on a few good halal Thai restaurants.. Cocochan came up so we had booked a table for 3 people at 7:30! We were half an hour early for our booking which was no problem at all, the lady sat us down right... More

A real mixed bag with very tasty food served in a modern environment with excellent acoustics which made conversation possible but a little pricey and variable service.

The food is really delicious with a great mix of surprising flavours and beautiful decor. This place is right next to Selfridges and a great location. However, the staff are really slow, unapologetic and unprofessional. When we first arrived, the front of house manager was wearing ripped jeans, scuffed trainers and a beanie...She was then chatting to other underdressed managers... More

Went here last night (one in St Christopher's Place) on a friend's recommendation and was I not disappointed. Great menu, great service-the waiters were super friendly and attentive even though it was super busy. We had giant prawns - from their specials and boy were they good! I didn't know you could even get prawns that size... Especially in England!... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
