Nice food, bad service

This slug and lettuce was a bit more expensive then the one in Islington but the decor is really nice. We had the chicken Tikka Makhani & the Biritish beef & chorizo puff pie which were both tasty. As dessert we ordered the panna cotta & chocolate mousse, but the Italian waiter was so... read more

Came in on Saturday night with some friends before we went to the O2, so glad we came here as when we got to the O2 we could see there were no available tables and everyone was crowded and standing around in the Slug there. For a Saturday evening the atmosphere was very relaxed and both our food and drinks... More

Busy mid week Good service not excellent as the mains were brought out separate times and also put out whilst still eating starter. Though they were busy we were suprised how efficenctly quick they were. Would recommend for a decent pub lunch

Having seen the reviews here you would have thought I went to a different restaurant. Ordered steak and chips medium rare, was exactly that although could have been a bit more pepper sauce, we were in a hurry, but the bill was brought very swiftly.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and the atmosphere was good and we were greater by a friendly member of staff. The food however was very poor and barely lukewarm. We shared some Nachos to start which took a long time to arrive but when they did, they were burnt. Another long delay for our main courses but when they... More

We really enjoyed our visit to the Slug and Lettuce. It may not be posh, it may not be the best, but the overall experience left us feeling fulfilled and happy. What more could you want? It wasn't a celebration, but we were simply looking for a place to relax and eat a reasonably-priced breakfast. It was just what we... More

I ordered the burger and asked for it to be medium ! It arrived well done and the sweet potatoe fries were cold. It was a Monday and all food was half price so maybe it was too much to ask for it to be perfect ?!!!!! Would I eat here again however ? No

The choice of cocktails was extensive and 2for1 was even better! The restaurant had a great atmosphere and seemed very popular in the area. Food was nice, but not overwhelmingly good.
