Description: Wright Brothers is a name synonymous with high quality seafood...
Wright Brothers is a name synonymous with high quality seafood restaurants. Situated on Sohos Kingly Street, between Carnaby and Regent Streets, Wright Brothers Soho follows in the award winning footsteps of the famed Oyster and Porter House of the same name in Borough Market. Equally relaxed and informal, the Wright Brothers philosophy of simplicity and quality is carried throughout Wright Brothers Soho. Offering a wide range of seafood and oysters from their own Cornish oyster farm and fishery, as well as from producers around the British Isles and France, all simply prepared to make the absolute most of fresh, delicious flavours, Wright Brothers is an unrivalled spot in which to enjoy the simple pleasures of the deep, alongside a refreshing glass of wine or the Wright Brothers Oyster Stout.

We fancied treating our selves to a little sea food. The food and service are fabulous - it's just a little bit expensive. But, we would go again. 4 stars instead of 5 because it's a little overpriced and because the tables for 2 are a little bit small; it was difficult to get 'everything' on the... read more

Have eaten here a couple of times at lunchtime either with friends or as a couple. I really like the fact that it has outdoor seating. Staff are friendly, but on this occasion (a Monday lunchtime) we waited too long for our lunch...both in terms of the starter arriving - about an hour - (tempura prawns...delicious) and the time between... We stopped here for a pre theatre bite to eat. We had a whole crab two langoustines mussels and razor clams. Washed down by half a bottle of wine. I was really impressed by all the staff. They were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food and drinks were served nice and quick and the food was... More

This was our third visit and one of the best - we chose the'Full House' platter. We were not disappointed. Serving staff were very friendly and attentive. We chose a bottle of rosé which complemented the seafood. We recommend this restaurant to all seafood lovers.

Fabulous food, wonderful wine, pleasant staff in the heart of Soho. This restaurant is slightly expensive but we treated ourselves for my Nans 80th birthday and it did not disappoint. The food was wonderful, we had a selection of small plates (chose one each) and it was more than sufficient with delicious bread and wine. Highly recommend this place for... More

I've had better service today here than in many high end restaurants. It's not cheap - up to £3 an individual oyster and £7 for a crayfish - but for a leisurely fish-based lunch in a "quiet" lane off Carnaby Street, this was a good choice.

I’m eternally searching for a ‘simples’ seafood restaurant (mainly on behalf of my other half, who is a seafood fanatic). Such places, serving vibrant fresh fruits de mer, are two-a-centime in France. But in London, we often have to endure our seafood cloaked beneath superfluous dressings, sauces and breadcrumbs. Wright Brothers Soho Oyster House kind of meets the ‘simples’ brief.... More

OK menu and service was very good - no complaints from us and we could sit in the courtyard. We would go again.

the restaurant was very disappointing, The waitress told us that they stopped selling lobster because of all the complaints. This doesn't inspire you with confidence for the food. The waitress recommended the Madagascan prawn as a substitute and grossly exaggerated the size of it - comparing it to a lobster with more meat! so disappointing - left the restaurant still... More

The service was a little patchy - it took a while to receive our drinks, and we were given the wrong menu - but the staff were friendly and polite. The food was excellent. The only thing I personally didn't like was that deep fried prawns still having their heads and tails on. The prosecco was nice and bubbly. The... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
