Wright Brothers is a name synonymous with high quality seafood restaurants. Situated on Sohos Kingly Street, between Carnaby and Regent Streets, Wright Brothers Soho follows in the award winning footsteps of the famed Oyster and Porter House of the same name in Borough Market. Busy, brash, London scene

OK menu and service was very good - no complaints from us and we could sit in the courtyard. We would go again.

I’m eternally searching for a ‘simples’ seafood restaurant (mainly on behalf of my other half, who is a seafood fanatic). Such places, serving vibrant fresh fruits de mer, are two-a-centime in France. But in London, we often have to endure our seafood cloaked beneath superfluous dressings, sauces and breadcrumbs. Wright Brothers Soho Oyster House kind of meets the ‘simples’ brief.... More

the restaurant was very disappointing, The waitress told us that they stopped selling lobster because of all the complaints. This doesn't inspire you with confidence for the food. The waitress recommended the Madagascan prawn as a substitute and grossly exaggerated the size of it - comparing it to a lobster with more meat! so disappointing - left the restaurant still... More

The service was a little patchy - it took a while to receive our drinks, and we were given the wrong menu - but the staff were friendly and polite. The food was excellent. The only thing I personally didn't like was that deep fried prawns still having their heads and tails on. The prosecco was nice and bubbly. The... More

it's nice place to go if you like seafood. The oyster is great. The best value is probably the pre-threater set dinner if you can make it there before 7.

very nice food, we tried the salmon, langoustine, cod and mussels. All very tasty but I'd say a bit pricey, especially the langoustine (one of the cold dishes) - they are to be avoided in my opinion. Service very good and friendly. Atmosphere good but missing that je ne sais quoi.

What a fantastic seafood experience! We ordered the full house platter, filled with an endless array of fresh oysters, prawns, salmon sashimi, muscles and langoustines. There is nothing to fault this venue, it is a very inviting and contemporary atmosphere and the staff are top class. It's not a cheap date so choose wisely who you share this wonderful experience... I have been at Wright Brothers couples of times now, and them consistency in delivering an exceptional culinary and human experience is impeccable. I had a dinner party with my former Boss, his associates and my boyfriend last Wednesday, 17th of June. I was in a state of excitement and anxiousness simultaneously. I haven’t seen them since I moved to... More

I visited for dinner on a Monday night. It was busy with a mix of young professionals. We ordered an assortment of seafood and the food was very good. The service was ok but not very good. The staff seemed a bit disorganized and inattentive. I can't give it 5 stars but I would go back.

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
