It was my birthday and I was also seeing a friend I haven't seen in 4 years. Paul and his wonderful staff went out of there way to make my evening truly magical. The food was amazing along with the buzzing atmosphere. What I thought was nice touch we were spoiled and was brought out small several dishes to try... More

Had reservations here last Saturday night. We showed up early and it was not a problem, by the time we left there was a line at the door. The food was very delicious and I was pleased with the wines they had. I was really happy with the wait staff, they were excellent.

My latest visit to Vascos was on a Friday lunchtime. A friendly welcome from the staff as ever. Tap water is available if you wish, we started drinks with a bottle of Gavi which was very refreshing and added a well priced Montepulciano red later. Starters chosen were sardines served two ways, my companion described one similar to rollmops, which... More

This restaurant was chosen for us by friends who suggested it was convenient for public transport and had an impeccable reputation for Umbrian food. Like all good eating in London, the prices are high but both the quality of service and the class of the cuisine justified the expense. The menu is not vast, and we had the benefit of... More

If we lived in London we would eat here every week. Each ingredient is fresh and perfectly combined to create exquisitely presented dishes that are delicious. The staff is attentive without being intrusive and they fulfill your every wish.

Back for more mozarella and pasta dishes from this small italian eatery hidden behind Oxford Street with its unassuming frontage. It can be expensive but the glass of white wine at £10 from Gavi was spectacular. As were all the other dishes brought to the table. Unfortunately some of the waiters let the side down - swearing at each other... More

Relaxed atmosphere, excellent food, very good service. They even gave us a small taster dish of creamed lamb ravioli in a buttery truffle sauce between our ordered courses ( and very nice it was too) .
