I am a big fan of Jamie Oliver and his Italian Trattoria in Richmond is one of my favorite places to eat. So, I had high hopes for a good dinner when booking at the more expensive Barbecoa. I was greeted professionally when I entered the restaurant and showed to my table and I would say the service was reasonably... More

Let me say I'm a Jamie Oliver fan, both as a restauranteur and as a person. I dine at his restaurants because I expect a certain level of quality and diversity on the menu. I dine often in London for business and personal reasons and have wanted to get to Barbecoa. I don't want to sound too negative here because... More

Visited on a Friday night and although busy it was still very comfortable. Very tasty steaks and Ribs, no room for desserts. As mentioned by others the wine list is good but expensive. I would recommend this restaurant and it is even better if you can get a good discount offer.

The starters were not worth to mention, the main course and sides were delicious. We had the burger and the Chauteubriand plus spinach, mushrooms and chips. It was plenty of food for a family of 4 and more. We also had desert. What a treat! The sweet board has a great variety for all tastes. Just a little expensive though.

I was excited to be invited by a business colleague to lunch at Barbecoa until reading a recent TA Report which had the headline "horrid". My own experience was not dissimilar. There was no warmth to the welcome from Reception staff who took my coat and checked the booking. I ascended the austere wood stairs to the 1st floor and... More

I visited for dinner with a friend on a quiet Sunday evening. The view of St Pauls is pretty cool, the food was great, very good steak, great steak tartare, and a lovely but expensive wine list. The service was smooth and we very much enjoyed the setting.

We were there Friday 23rd Jan, party of 9, three Italians and six British. Great place, fantastic food, meat excellent. Ordered two Chateaubriands for four of us. Wonderful meat, tender, cooked to perfection, but they cannot keep it warm till when you finish. So after the first piece, the second one is cold. Such a pity! Had same a month... More

It's a nice place, BUT the food is disgusting. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anybody!

Great fresh and tasty food. No white tablecloths :-). Loved the ribs, and side of baked beans are amazing. Great location right next to St. Paul's Mainly business clientele as close to finance/banks so expect to see lots of people in suits

Took the office out for dinner in November before everything went mad over Christmas. Great table (although we were the lucky ones, many other people seemed crammed in), great cocktails, great staff... just ridiculously overpriced and unnecessary. I've had steak just as good in many London restaurants, and for half the price. It was an experience, but we won't be... More
