Fantastic food

We went here as part of a large group. Our waitress was fantastic and had great knowledge of food and drink menu. It was a bit slow to have our order taken but the food itself wasn't slow to come out. Everyone enjoyed their food which was cooked perfectly. Good atmosphere for mid week.

Took my Nephew for end of summer holiday steak lunch. Great service, views to St Paul's Cathedral. Both had sirloin steak with selection of sides. Excellent flavoursome food, can't fault it. A little dear but well worth it. Perhaps a few too many city boys but it was a busy Friday lunchtime! Left just enough room for snicker sphere... Decadent!

Not the cheapest restaurant but with every penny. Before the main course we got a delicious bread with butter. The main course was a 10 oz. steak with several side dishes. The meat was very tender and delicious, the only bad thing that kinda destroyed the experience was that the knives which were not sharp so it was a bit... More

Located in old London city, this restaurant offers and efficient cafe style vibe, with an interesting selection of Italian based dishes to grab on the hoof at reasonable prices

The setting for the restaurant is perfect, with stunning views of St Paul's cathedral and equally stunning interior it's a definite must to visit. Although we had a table booked the day before it was still busy and buzzing at 9 so we had to wait, but it was definitely worth it because the food was amazing. The flavours and... More

We went as a special dinner to celebrate a new job. The whole experience is lovely, from the views of St Pauls, to the impeccable service, and of course, the amazing steak. We shared a Chateaubriand and Sirloin, along with a mix of sides and a lovely Malbec. All to an amazing standard! The only caveat is of course the... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, (not as much as the Duck and Waffle however) it it is still very good. We tried the crab, calami, Chateaubrilland steak which was very good as well as the Scottish trout. I would recommend this restaurant when in London. The views of St Pauls Cathedra; (located opposite) sets the restauant off.

Not the cheapest but turned out to be better value than I feared. Less impressed by the starters and desserts but the main courses are excellent. Good service.

What a wonderful surprise coming to this much sought after steak restaurant. The food, service and venue absolutely stunning. Certainly be coming here again but would have to be for a special occasion as it is pricey.

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
