Nice setting and view of St Paul Cathedral. The food was average but the service was good. The calamari salad, asparagus and Parmesan salad and beet root salad were very good but the spare ribs were hard. The meat was blunt. We were disappointed especially that the expectations were high.

Went here with family (no children) for lunch on a saturday. We were treated to a fuss free presentation of the day's specials and quickly had our first drinks served.(Phenomenal Kernel Pale Ale). We only ordered mains and a bread basket but most dishes were well above average. The t-bone steak was superb and the unpulled pork dish was equally... More

Friends took me here on a visit to London. I was expecting great things. Don't get me wrong; the food was good, but not worth the price. The cocktails were original and delicious (10-11 pounds each). Steak was average. Appetizer was laughable. We ordered the shrimp to share as our waitress assured us it was sharing size. Hahaha. If you... More

Our dinner formed part of an experience package purchased through Red Letter Days. We started with a visit to the linked butchers shop where the whole ageing and carving process was explained and demonstrated Our dining experience began with a choice of cocktail - they tasted as divine as they looked! Very very tastefully created. Starters were the tandoori tiger... More

Considering it's a Jamie Oliver restaurant, the expectations are really high. It was slightly disappointing. The design of the restaurant is beautiful. The food however is average. The baby back ribs were hard and required a lot of effort to chew, the burger was dry, and the pork belly was not crispy on the outside. The staff was really friendly... More

Barbecoa is a winner with my family! We have been there twice and I have been there one more time with my coworkers. The food menu is impressive, though they removed the mac-n-cheese sometime in the past year. Good to see the beef tartare is still there and as good as ever. There are better steaks to be had in... I visited Barbecoa with a colleague as we were in the mood for some meat. We were not dissapointed! We had the ribs for starter and the three steak taster for our main course. The ribs were nothing short of amazing! I think they might be the nicest thing I have ever tasted. Sweet, spicy, acidic - stunning. The steaks... More

Had a very nice evening in Barbecoa. Food was tasty and the service excellent, but for some reason both me and my wife agreed we wouldn't bother going back. Hard to say why; it is pretty expensive but the meat is excellent and the location is good. All the staff were very friendly and although I had to send the... More

We were lucky enough to get a corner table with a great view of St Paul's Cathedral. Starters were duck, calamari, ribs and pork cheek. They were all fantastic! For mains there was a sirloin, rump and the 1.1kg rib eye. All of these were cooked just as we had asked for. The sides of mash, chips, mushrooms, carrots and... More

Jamie Oliver - energetic, innovative, creative, entrepreneur chef; hats off to this brilliant estabishement. We were sat facing the dome of St Paul Cathedral, a classy, casual chic restaurant serves up beautifully done meats; from pork cheek, pork belly (a must try dish) to your standard filet, all are satifyling to your appetite. Somalier suggestion a gorgeous bottle of Malbec,what... More
