Barbecoa is a casual, bustling restaurant with a brilliant view of St. Pauls, and a busy atmosphere (probably a little too loud for a romantic meal). The menu offers a great selection, provided you like meat, and the cuts are generous and expertly cooked. Of particular recommendation is the 3 jalepeno cornbread, the fillet steak and the lemon meringue tart.... More

First rule - you must reserve a table. The meat is superb, the sides ain't so much.. However, the price is quiet high, and the stakes are kind of small, I expected that for this prices we will get more. Great food but prepare to spend some.

A very classy establishment, with a beautiful view of St Pauls cathedral. Had a Duck starter followed by a steak and chips then a chocolate brownie, all with a slight twist to them as you would imagine from a Jamie Oliver Special. The service was brilliant with very good attention detail. I would highly recommend giving it a visit, although... More

My whole family is crazily in love with their T-bone steak. The texture is beyond what words could describe. The other dishes were great too but seriously , I think even vegetarians will be tempted by their steak! Do yourself a favour and go try it!

I've have been living in London for 7 years and this is by far the worst and most expensive restaurant I have had the misfortune of visiting. Last weekend my parents visited myself and my fiancée for their annual trip to the big smoke. Barbecoa was recommended to me by a colleague at work. I checked out some reviews and... More

This was supposed to be a treat for my wife's 60th birthday and the end of a lovely day in London. I paid £170 and we really didn't have a lot! We only had a beer and two small glasses of wine in that. If you have a bottle of wine add another £40-£50. I left half of my steak... More

Restaurant was so noisy couldn't hear my companions let alone the waitress. Seating arrangement more cafe than restaurant and table setting showed no finesse. Waitress was obviously well trained at getting you to spend more than you intended, eg by getting you to buy water without you realising it and suggesting dearer wine than you originally wanted. Steaks were not... More

Mixed feelings about this restaurant it was very busy and felt crammed in as tables appeared to be very near to each other resulting in no one able to have a private conversation. Started with the pigs cheeks and followed with the short ribs in a very ordinary sauce not the standard I was expecting from Jamie Oliver - wine... More

Gazing out from a comfortable restaurant table through floor-to-ceiling glass windows onto the East-facing side of St Paul's Cathedral is understandably a pleasant experience. But having just spent £100 for 2 people on 8 olives, 2 rump steaks, 2 side dishes and a 500ml carafe of red wine, I'm finding it tough to convince myself this is good value.... Can't... More
