Great Ribs

I had lunch here midweek and had some delicious ribs for a starter. Would definitely go back. Service was attentive and quick. The only disappointment was the lack of view because we were seated round the corner near the entrance.

Visited with friends on a saturday evening. Restaurant was very busy but had no real atmosphere. If you were seated the side where you could see St Paul's the view was fantastic otherwise you were very aware you were in a shopping centre. All the main courses were good - we all had steak of some description - but my... More

Excellent location, great views of St.Paul through the windows, good design of interiors. Food is very average. Looks like grill meat is prepared in advance and when you order it they just warmed it up - at least my steak didn't taste like freshly prepared and was served in 5 min after ordering -- can't imagine preparing a steak in... I've been here on several occasions and am a big fan of Jamie's restaurants, the setting is great and we had a superb table overlooking St Pauls (which the staff sorted for me....), however I like good food and have been lucky enough to have eaten at Michelin rated restaurants several times over the past year (Maze, Arbutus, Wild Honey,... The venue fantastic. Maybe I just selected the wrong food as this was disappointing, crispy calamari for starter, and slow roasted pit beef for main. Personally I think it is over priced, and very disappointed when the waiter questioned me deducting the £22 service charge from the bill! I don't think I will be returning.

A group of six of us went for dinner mid werk. The food was fantastic, but unfortunately the service was a huge let down. Whilst all off the staff were very friendly and hospitable when they were around, we could simply never find them. We were left sitting at our table for at least fifteen minutes after we were seated... More

It started with the whiskey tasting (well developed), and continued with the amazing starter ribs. Definitely worth a re-visit.

Still as amazing as it was the first time! The service is impecable, the food amazing, fantastic quality and perfect portion size. Almost too big and always a struggle to enjoy dessert. A heaven for meat lovers. The sides are also superb. The mac n cheese is to die for!!! One of the restaurants i keep on my list of... More

Coming out of a rain-soaked One New Change into the restaurant soon made it easy to forget this eatery is housed in a fairly sterile shopping centre. The lights were low but good enough to read the menu and the noise level was fairly high but not enough to stop polite conversation. Although the restaurant boasts views overlooking St Paul's... Decided to go here one Friday evening after walking past as I had heard good things. The menu was good, great range but the food was pretty average and very overpriced so it just didn't feel like good value for money. The Mac n Cheese was really good, that's one thing we did enjoy but the rest of the food... More

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
