Best steak in London

Took my girlfriend for her birthday. Some of the best steak we have ever eaten and served by friendly staff. Great sides and drinks selections too. Highly recommend

Went there in February 2016 as a group of 3 couples. Services as grest and the steaks were amazing. It was good to see them offering tap water straight away without the hard sell on over priced mineral water.

Came here with my father before heading to the theatre. We both had the express menu. We arrived early so had a drink in the bar, when it reached the time of our booking, we were shown to our table swiftly. The service was great, very attentive. We both had the roasted beetroot goats cheese salad, it was to die... More

We booked this restaurant for a couples weekend, having been to one of the other Hawksmoor restaurants in London for lunch thought we would try this venue. Not disappointed, the food was excellent, steaks a little pricey but the quality exceptional so well worth it. The chicken was also plentiful and well cooked. Would recommend.

Service from the start is very attentive and friendly. Our waiter was excellent in advising us what to have and even getting the bar to make me a special cocktail according to my tastes. We ordered a Chateaubriand for although this was very tasty and cooked to perfection it was not the best I have had and certainly would have... More

We ate in the Hawksmoor seven dials in May 2015 and it was a fantastic evening of great service, excellent food and wine. My girlfriend and myself both had the scallops to start with which were fantastic, very well presented and served with a lovely dressing on top. The fillet steak was one of the best steaks we have had... More

We are massive fans of Hawksmoor and visit 3 or 4 times a year. I have never had a bad word to say about the experience. So we decided to try the Sunday roast - what a disappointment! At £20.00 per head we were surprised about a price, very reasonable. But we expected the normal excellent standard of Hawksmoor food,... More

Really loved this place. The food was good and the atmosphere was very nice. Try the rolos after a meal. They're a great finish without being too much after a big meal

I took my boyfriend here as part of his birthday surprise, and we were both really impressed with the food and service. The steaks were cooked exactly to our specifications, and the sides (triple cooked chips, macaroni cheese) and sauces (Stilton hollandaise!!!) were particularly tasty. Starters and desserts were nice too. The only slight disappointment was the house rosé wine... More

I had very high expectations, knew it would be expensive and although everything was very nice, the experience overall didn't overwhelm me. We had a decent cocktail at the bar - £9.50 a time. The fillet steak (£30 for just the meat) was lovely, seasoned very well. The peppercorn sauce was peppery(!). And the sides (£4-5 each) were really tasty... More
