Steak cuisine without equal

Melt in the mouth fillet steak, triple cooked beef dripping chips and rich bone marrow gravy -delicious. Effecient service from start to finish. A must for any steak fan visiting Covent Garden.

Arrived 45mins before our table was booked so we enjoyed a variety of cocktails and the very lovely surroundings. Good menu Excellent food! No tutting or eye rolling when I asked for another side salad with no dressing. Excellent burger!! Lush pudding. And gorgeous attentive waitress. Thankyou Molly :) Will return xox

I ate here over the weekend with my boyfriend and it was excellent. The service was wonderful and the food superb! I had a ribeye and my boyfriend the sirloin, both were perfectly cooked. It was an excellent place to come for our anniversary meal.

We started with steak tartare(fantastic) and half lobster(wouldn't recommend) both to share. For are main course I had the roast rump and all the trimmings, what a pleasant surprise it was like eating a beautiful piece of fillet,The potatoes lacked a bit of love or maybe it was just because it was Sunday night...(my big no go usually for roasts... Birthday weekend treat for my Argentinian-roots partner, so it goes without saying that she knows a good steak. Her view? The steak was good but the Gauchos experience is better, and she probably enjoyed the salted caramel tart dessert more than the main course, so all in all a bit of a letdown given our high expectations from the reviews... Went for our 5th wedding anniversary having stumbled upon Hawksmoor from a review about the much maligned angus steakhouses that pepper the west end. A fickle friend had also confirmed how good it was so I arrived with high expectations which it transpired would be fully met. It is underground and you access it via an imposing reception. Downstairs, you... More

What a great place. Beautiful decor - and good service can make up for a lot of sins. Luckily here the decor and service is the backdrop to really good and hearty fare. A bit pricier than most places it was nevertheless a great night out. We shared a bone marrow starter - devine but very rich. I had the... More

Family members brought us to this restaurant for lunch on a holiday Monday and we experienced a very European-style long lunch, which lasted about four hours from start to finish. We ordered off the express menu and tried the potted mackerel and the bone marrow for starters, followed by sea bream and the hamburger. The meal includes a variety of... More
