We visited the restaurant on Friday 25th July, having a table booked for 5pm. The restaurant called the day before to check we were still coming which was just the start of quite possibly the best customer service i have ever received in a restaurant. Arriving slightly early, we asked to have a drink at the bar. My wife went... More

On a theatre trip to London for Mothers day we chose to come here as a treat for my Mum who loves steak. We were not disappointed. We all went for fillet, myself with an anchovy hollandaise which was the perfect accompaniment, just salty enough and so rich. 4 empty plates at the end of the meal is something few... More

If you love steak make the effort and go to hawksmoor. You will not be disappointed and as you leave will be planning your next visit. The early deal is great value and if you a super hungry do not miss the bone marrow starter! Cocktails are fab, staff gave me the recipe for sherry crusta and I have been... More

Visited Saturday 26th July, around 5.30pm. Booked restaurant based on reviews, and we just about found it as it's just a doorway which leads down to a basement. Service from our waiter (sadly cannot remember his name!) was fantastic, he knew about everything on the menu and was do genuine and friendly . My steak was delicious and my dessert... More

We have been meaning to go here for ages and eventually made it before the theatre. The staff were great, the service excellent without being stuffy or over fussy. The starter and the puds were impeccable and the claret very nice. The potatoes were better than the chips and the only thing that was a bit disappointing (much to my... More

We have visited this restaurant twice (once pre-theatre). The staff are amazingly well informed on both food and drinks. Our first visit was a busy saturday evening and 2nd visit was mid week, both were lovely with staff taking time to insure we had all the info we needed and that our wine was well matched to the meals. We... More

Great food and cocktails, we will deffinatley be back when we travel through London again. The staff could answer every question i had about the selection of steak. My husband and i both loved the concept and recommend our friends try the hawksmoor when they travel.

We booked an early table for a pre- theatre meal so dined from the "Express" Menu. This represented fantastic value at £24 for 2 courses and £27 for 3. On entering the restaurant from the heat of the London streets I was struck by the size of the dining area. Tables were well spaced with comfy club- style chairs and... More

Things started well as we warmed up with a cocktail or two and got better as we tucked into simple but good starters (Crab on toast and smoke salmon). But we came for the steak and it did not disappoint - a huge porterhouse shared between three of us. Whilst it is the best steak in town it comes at... More
