Great night out!!

We went to this restaurant last night for my boyfriends birthday. Upon arrival we were told there was a slight delay on some cute of meat as they had ran out and needed to wait for a delivery. We were told it would only be 15 minutes and offered a free starter to keep the hunger pangs at bay... read more

Need I say more? Well I will. I'm sooooooooooooo damn fussy with steak I usually find that I have to send it back because they never seem to get it right! However this was definitely not the case here! It was my sisters birthday and she wanted to go to a steak house. Having done some research I chose Hawksmoor.... More

Very noisy and vibrant restaurant that has a real buzz to it. We visited on a Friday night at 9.00 and it was at full tilt. The portions are large and the steaks huge but be careful as you pay by the 100 grams. I knocked them one star as the wife's steak was so salty as to make it... More

I had high expectations as I found this place in timeout online and was one of the most recommended steak places in London. Everything was just superb, it's a little hard to find initially (is near to Pineapple dance studio) but the service the food and atmosphere were all top rate. I had a sirloin with chips with peppercorn sauce... More

I have read a lot of good things about the Hawksmoor burger, seen some nice pictures of it and some not so great pics. I wanted to go there for a long time and was really looking forward to it. I had first the bone marrow with onions and amazing bread, that was nice. I had a Meantime beer, an... More

Delicious Chateaubriand and tasty chips, pleasantly served. Not cheap. Buzzy ambience in cavernous restaurant.

The service is fast, friendly and efficient. The surroundings stately and impressive. The chips, the sauce and the other sides are all beautiful. The wine is top notch. The steak... oh. Unfortunately the steak did not live up to our expectations of such a prestigious steak restaurant. We asked for our steak cooked rare, and received it closer to medium... More

I would class myself as a real carnivore, this place is the best place in London for the perfect ribeye steak. Try and get down there for the £20 Sunday lunch...amazing!
