New fun atmosphere! Have been before but there is new staff now.

Had a wonderful time with 3 friends in the Cellar Bistro. We were walking by and I was dubious of going in again as visited last year. Now there is a complete change. The atmosphere is fun and there is a new chef. I was so impressed with the food and after speaking to the chef, I decided to... read more

The staff were awful and intimidating. When we tried to leave they were forcing us to stay. I could hear the microwave in the back. The place smells and is very dirty. Food was repulsive and really expensive. Asked for coca cola and got tesco cola. This is the worst place in the world. £50 of a microwave meal. The... More

Avoid at all costs. Overpriced microwave meals......and not good ones!! The food and surroundings were so bad we left before dessert. I am sure the staff are lovely but with so many nice restaurants in the area we made a very bad choice. The only positive is we can now laugh at how terrible it all was.

I had been before but this time brought friend with me who is over from Switzerland. We had been out and about and wanted to get something quick to eat. As we had been walking a lot today doing lots of sightseeing it was good to sit down. Food is excellent and wonderful value for money. Plus we had a... More

This "cellar" is a hideous miserable claustrophobic revolting 3x4mt (tops) room where 6 tables for two people (quite small people indeed) are crammed in such a fashion that it's impossible to cross its habitable space without hitting any of the patrons on the head, or being run over by the waitress. It has no windows (well, it's a cellar I... More

I was walking in the streets of China Town with a couple of friends when we saw a board outside of a small restaurant, advertising Pasta Dishes for a good value. We decided to go in, but finally decided to have 3 courses for £7.90. A part from really good food, and a huge portions of pasta that we had... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
