We were looking for some non-British (i.e. not bland) food on our last night in London, and a tour operator recommended this restaurant which was very close to our hotel. For my daughter and I, this was our favorite food in our 10 day trip. We had pulled pork and a Chorizo appetizer, and my wife had the beef dinner.... More

This place has a great atmosphere at happy hour, and it's a bargain we had 4 strawberry daiquiris for a mere £13! These weren't watered down either. Although busy the bar staff are great always smiling and make your drinks with great care and attention. We did get the money mojito but it was slightly sweet for me. This is... More

Very disappointing; in daylight the whole place is shabby - we went there for the set menu which admittedly is cheap but very disappointing; I had tuna fishcakes which were 99.9% potato. The mocktail I had wasn;t bad but over priced for a bit of mineral water and lime juice. The loos were really dirty and unpleasant and the whole... More

I love Cubana. It’s one of those places I accidentally find myself in even though I don’t really hang around Waterloo all that often, I don’t make a lot of plans to go there and I’m not a slave to the cocktail (though that sounds enjoyable). I have never regretted a night there, though. It’s fun. It’s pretty much guaranteed... More

I've visited this restaurant several times and each visit was 'interesting'. The food was always exceptional and the cocktails (especially at Happy Hour) great value. I discovered a new rum (Santiago 25 year old) which was the favourite of Fidel Castro; after tasting it I can see why. This particular rum is not easily available and is brought over by... More

I went there with my husband and my friends and was surprised how amazing is this place. The hostess was very friendly and helpful even if she was so busy she was happy to help around. Great atmosphere, service was fast, waitresses seemed to be busy but always nice to us. Happy that we decided to walk in and have... More

Hungry around lower marsh/waterloo? Need something quick and filling at lunch time but dont want to pay though the nose? Head for the Cubana street kitchen! Hot Cubana sandwich with smoothie for £4.50 followed by the pollo crillo with loads of fried plantation (£5.50). Excellent flavors at a reasonable price. If you want to sit down they let you go... On a cold day great for hot Cuban food - pollo criollo with delicious fried plantains on top. Served on a load of rice and beans and marinated chicken. £5.50 to take away. There are seats inside and some people eat their takeaway in there. Looks like it would be hopping for after work drinks too. They also serve a... More

Made a last minute booking for 6 people on line at 3pm for a 5pm same day seating on a Friday. despite being very busy (happy hour is 5-7pm), we were seated immediately. 2 for 1 on cocktails went down very nicely (£17 for two jugs of Mojito) and we had the pre-theatre menu of 2 courses for £10.....the food... Decided to give this place a try, was slightly worried due to previous reviews saying that service was bad etc, when we walked in they were busy I asked if they had a table for three, the waitress was a bit rude, said "we are busy, you can sit down their but you have to order at the bar" -...
