Disappointing and very very oily I like curry but im really not a fan of spice so i always get butter chicken or korma from kensal rise but came here for the first time today and i got a "buttery chicken" expecting it to be coconut base and a creamy colour but was suprised when it came red and swimming... Often visit here as it closes at 2am. Food is tasty and lots of choice but can be oily (if you tell them not to make it oily they will listen). However don't take a girl here late, the men will stare....... alot.

You would probably walk past this place, as I did. But then I was introduced to this place by some friends, and the food is amazing. There is a small selection but each one of them has its own unique taste - very different from the 'generic' curries in the 'generic' Indian restaurants. Try the 'chilli bhajia' and the mince... Eat here sat night. Stated with lamb chops and they brought 5 of them (not bad for £5.50) and mrs p had a sheikh kebab The food was generally ok - very oily though overall with the curry Don't expect table cloths and it is not licensed but you can take your own drinks - water is available in a... Took my girlfriend here as she wanted a proper meaty and unhealthy North Indian cuisine. I had come here before on numerous occasions as they are normally open very late. Food has always been to a great standard but at a cheap price. This time around we ordered for starters: chilli paneer, tandoori chicken wings and shami kebab. This was... More

I don’t like to leave negative reviews but in this case I just don’t have a choice but to write my experience there. From the outside the place looked nice and as soon as we walked in I was reeling to get out of there as the place was reeking of run of the mill curry houses and I thought... More

Had a nice meal, Good portions, lovely service, nice spicy kebab starters. Generous naan bread, fluffy light Palau rice. Only disappointment was the main course. Very tasty, but way OTT in the oil/ghee, about 1/2 inch if fat floating on top. .(left orange stain on my hotel table, but that's another story !) Would use again, but prob stick to... More

I visited the Karahe Queen yesterday evening with family and friends before going to the England vs Holland game. From the outside the restaurant doesn't look anything special and on entering it has formica tables and very basic decor. Its BYOB, so we popped a couple of shops down to pick up some drinks - there is no corkage. On... More

We go to eat here every time we visit Wembley stadium for England football games. As we haven't missed a game in several years, then we're regulars in the restaurant. Mainly a noisy crowd in the restaurant, and a definite friendly atmosphere. Bookings don't seem possible, but even on busy match days there is always a table free within a... More
