We visited following the theatre and the restaurant was still busy and vibrant at 10.30 pm. The food was excellent and service friendly and personal, just what you expect from Jamies Italian. It was beautifully situated with a seating area outside and looking on to St Martins Lane and the whole resturant has a lovely airy feel. Fantastic evening

I visited Jamie's Italian in St Martin's Lane some three years ago and although it is close to my office I very rarely visit. I had a rather disappointing experience at the trattoria in Richmond a few months ago. I was therefore, very hesitant about trying this one again but I needn't have been worried. I stopped by for early... More

I visited this restaurant few weeks ago with a friend for dinner. Food was really good, can't fault anything (loved my asparagus) but our waiter Raul. He was coming and going so quickly, didnt have the time to ask him for smth. He was talking to us looking to other tables at the same time. Being watress myself I can... More

A must go! The food was amazing! Nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. Reasonably priced. I got the lamb pasta, the lamb was so tender it melted in my mouth! Also, the fried rice with cheese app was so good!

I booked this as a birthday treat for my wife, Arrived at 8pm to what looked and amazing place and was shown to the worst table in a very empty restaurant, after complaining we picked out a better one, this needed serious balancing as unstable. Waitress was attentive but lacked experience, asked for Two dry Martini's got them but were... More

Walking through Covent Garden in the early evening. Jamie's is in a charming location and one hopes the brand will deliver. I asked for the super food salad, not available. Went for the tuna as an alternative, to be told that's a good choice. What a disappointment, my meal would certainly not appear on any of the TV programmes and... More

Went to the restaurant from office as a team. It was a lovely food. The portions are not bad when compared to some of the other places. The service is good. The vegetarian options may be limited so would recommend checking the menu before going.

Visited for a friends birthday in quite a large group. We booked with about a months notice and they said they only had an 8:15 booking (we wanted earlier) even though when we got there it was empty. On entering the cake 'surprise' was ruined. Service continued to be average on the verge of poor (no smiles) last few tables... More

After several years of happy dining here, my recent experience was disappointing. The first clue should have come in the short wait for a table (were told 30 minutes, next-door Dishoom was 1 hour 10 minutes) and were sat down in 10 - which is good news, but also may suggest others think the gloss is wearing off. Service was... More

I love to have lunch at Jamie's Italian everytime I visite London. It's always busy and crowded. The service is very nice and the food is DELICIOUS. I always eat the same - Wild Rabbit - unforgettable. And last time I had 2 desserts - Lime pie and chocolate brownie - I couldn't decide between the two. Both delicious.
