Welcome to the new generation of Ponti's Italian Kitchen, which has been family-run since 1963. The family originates from Piacenza in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy, and they are passionate and committed to the exceptional food of the region. Dishes are simply prepared using the freshest quality ingredients, with a generation's twist on traditional classics. Provenance is a key part of the menu, with several dishes denoted with the DOP logo, the official mark which certifies that the products are genuine speciality products from the region. So, the Parma Ham is from Parma and nowhere else. With two sites in London on Duke Street and John Prince's Street, Ponti's Italian Kitchen appeals to a broad clientele and serves food all day. From a cooked breakfast to afternoon tea and cakes, and late supper through to a great cocktail, the menu remains true to Ponti's Italian roots. Stylish and comfortable, Ponti's has a sixties-inspired interior design, with banquette seating and wooden chairs around tables of all sizes. Red walls are adorned with pictures of Pontis through the generations, alongside a variety of oils, pastas and vinegars for sale. The wood stone pizza oven adds a sense of excitement to the restaurant, further emphasised by the open kitchen. A lively and entertaining space with contemporary music in the background, Ponti's Italian Kitchen conveys all the best attributes of an Italian home - great fresh authentic food, warmth and fun. Ponti's Italian Kitchen is proud to receive the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence award 2012, for consistently achieving outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor. Approximately 10 percent of restaurants listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award that honours hospitality excellence.

We were shopping in selfridges when our tummies began to rumble and the first restaurant that we encountered was Ponti's. Nice menu, Italian origin with a twist. Service was proficient, friendly and personal. Good wine too.

Always go this place when I go shopping on the Oxford street. A little Italian place off the high street with super efficient service and good pasta. I always go for linguine with king prawns. 👍🏻👍🏻

This restaurant came highly recommended and lived up to it. All the pasta dishes were hot and we did not wait too long to be served. Lasagne, diavola pizza and carbonara excellent. Just one minor point - go easy on the mushrooms in the Tagliolini ai funghi e olio tartufato. Great waiter service and the fact that the waiter had... More

While in London for three days, we found ourselves at Ponti's three times! We went once for dinner, and came back twice for breakfast. The food was delicious, very reasonably priced, and we had incredible service and hospitality from Anna (B?) so much that we came back day after day. Would definitely recommend for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They offer... More

A lovely Italian restaurant in the heart of Oxford Circus ! I know right ! Great food, reasonably priced for central London and a fantastic location for going to the Palladium afterwards ( which we did). Our waiter Gellert was fast, efficient, friendly and full of useful information. This restaurant consistently delivers on food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommended !

Ponti's is the one restaurant that I can visit and choose different things from the menu each time with the guarantee that I'll never be disappointed. It's a must visit and once you've been, you'll want to go back!

I've been at this restaurant last december. It's a great place, great food, all clean, good attendants. And it's close to a lot of stores in London. I recommend it.

I like this restaurant, the food and the people. The place is not pretentious and the price is not based on the location which is in the touristy place. The food was great, not over the top and the staff were really nice. I would definitely recommend this place.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
