I hated sauerkraut for years, and on a whim decided to try to it on my Bochwurst. It was AMAZING! And the cheese fries? Best cheese fries of my life. Try the lemony Fritz soda, it was very refreshing! When can we get this place in America??????

This is supposed to be real authentic, so we decided to give it a try. The curry wurst was ok. Simply curry powder on top of some red ketchup type sauce. Really not particularly interesting. Food was ok. Fries were kind of dry. It wasn't bad. Service was friendly. The seating area looked clean. Not in a curry to go... More

Authentic and tasty german sausages served up just like in Berlin. Don'd be scared if its your first time - just go and share :-) Portions are quite large.

We got into this small but sympathetic diner at a time when we wanted some fast food but other than hamburger or such thing, so we chose to have schni-po-sa with schnitzer. It was simply the food I wanted at the moment. The portions are also quite reasonable. The staff is kind. Definitely recommended. :-)

Noticed this place on a side street and felt compelled to check it out. Had a chilli sausage with jalapeños, sauerkraut etc and it was absolutely gorgeous. Very reasonably priced to! Well worth checking out!

This place had been on my list for a long time and it did not disappoint. This is a jazzed up version of a German Imbiss (fast food) place with the Currywurst at the forefront. Small but perfectly formed place with many menu options. For us, it had to be the Currywurst as it's the one thing I miss about... More

We went as a group of 9 to Herman ze German on a busy Saturday night, having booked a table in advance. The staff were very friendly, sat us promptly and were obliging through the course of the night. The food was effectively "fast food" but made in a slightly different way to other restaurants at roughly the same level... More

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
