This is cracking little German restaurant that keeps it simple and delivers. Beer and sausage - what more can a man ask for . The pricing is reasonable £5 to £6 for a meal and beer is around £3.50. Service is provided with German efficiency and the staff are friendly and polite. A winner in Soho

So I went here last night with a friend after hunting for 'proper' sausages (not those disgusting wanna-be hotdogs sold in the streets). I had the chilli beef curry wurst with a bread roll, my friend had the Bratwurst with a roll and we both had Sauerkraut and a pint of Paulaner. Later on we went back to have some... More

located close to the embankemnt station might be easily overlooked but that would be a mistake. i loved almost everything about herman. the bratwurst is great (flavor wise and as well size wise) with different types to choose from. ordered combo with fries (nice and tasty) and tried as well german cola (interesting taste, not as sweet as normal one).... Came across this place whilst walking to station so stopped off for a Bratwurst and proper potato salad. Whilst eating felt I had been tranported to Germany! Worth a visit for a quick bite. Was very busy so had to eat standing as all seats taken.

Went to Herman ze German last night with my missus just for a quick easy meal after work, as its been somewhere I have been meaning to try for some time. Had the meal deal. Decided on the chilli beef and pork sausage which was very tasty. Enjoyed the sausage in the roll loaded with sauerkraut and crispy onions, however... More

Good quality German style sausage and pomes. Reasonable price for an almost 'sit down' meal. Sausages were very good quality and lean meat, too.

Found this place on Old Compton Street in London which specialises in German sausages and wienerschnitzel.Inexpensive and tasty food and generous portions. I liked the selection of German soft drinks and can recommend the orange flavoured cola!!

Okay, I admit I am not a big fan of sausage, so I can't rate the sausage. I had the schnitzel. It wasn't cheap and it wasn't good. I've had much better. My boyfriend had a sausage. He said it was nothing special and he felt ripped off.
