I have only eaten sausages (Wurst) here; I have not tried the schnitzels or other meaty offerings. You order and pay at a desk and then the food is brought to your table. The sausages are first-class in quality, and can be ordered with a wide range of extras, mostly at extra cost. If available, it is worth tasting the... More

Absolutely amazing, good quality food at a great price, and the staff are really friendly. Go for the 'ringer' spice level if you want to test your taste buds!

I wanted to try this place as I'd read about it online and wanted something different. I went to the branch on Old Compton Street in Soho. The place is different inside and service was fairly fast. I though that it was a bit expensive at just over £9 for their Wurst Meal Deal. It included a bottle of soft... More

Always wanted to try it out. This place is just playing on stereotypes. The wurst is average. The pommes frites deep fried. Try it out if you can understand the confusing menu.

Great food much better value than a M burger and it tastes great too!! Was in town showing friends the sites didn't want to go to the usual fast food shops so popped in on a busy Saturday lunch time. The seating is limited but the turnaround of people is quick, you might have to share a table..

Tried this place in Soho just off Old Compton Road. Got there for 1.30 lunch time. No queue. Took 20 minutes to get my order. I ordered bratwurst and chips with sauerkraut. Almost 10 pounds. Chips was the best part of the meal. Disappointing. Need to cook the bratwurst a bit longer.

Herman ze German's Pommes Spezial are absolutely perfect after the pub. They absolutely do not stint on the portion and there is curry sauce, mayo and fried onions in profusion. Even better, my husband has the no carbs Sausage and Salad (from the No Carbs Fraulein section, hilariously) which matches his diet and minimises marital strife. The benches at Old... More

This is cracking little German restaurant that keeps it simple and delivers. Beer and sausage - what more can a man ask for . The pricing is reasonable £5 to £6 for a meal and beer is around £3.50. Service is provided with German efficiency and the staff are friendly and polite. A winner in Soho
